The staff - the community environment and the way everyone is welcome! Staff and members make it a point to go out of their way to ensure everyone feels a part of the community and part of something so much bigger. I am always treated by name, with a smile - as if they've been waiting for me. (which is really hard to do daily at 5:00am). We love the early morning crew - they keep us coming back! Gordon makes my day!
I have enjoyed the classes (especially yoga) for years, the facilities are well-maintained and the people who work at the Kennett Y are friendly and efficient. Most of all, however, I like how the Kennett Y encourages socializing. I have made many friends at the Kennett YMCA and hope to be a member for a long time!
The staff are friendly, instructors are wonderful (I love the body pump class), the facilities are well maintained, and there is a great pool. The Y never feels crowded - no waiting for machines and swim lanes.

I like everything. The employees are so friendly and helpful. The equipment is great and well maintained. I love that such a variety of people are members, suggesting that this is a very inclusive place, not at all like what I experienced in Miami Beach where people my age--I'll soon be 77--just don't seem to go to gyms. (Other than me!) And it is so convenient for me and my husband. I love too that he has a Parkinson's cycling class and that he goes to other classes. His trainer, Steve, is really great for Stefan.
