My son Jackson in grade 4 was placed in a lower level math. 4 years later he failed grade 8 math. His math teacher was adamant he should be placed in apprenticeship math even though his dream was to go to BCIT. You require grade 11 foundations or pre-cal. We tried about 5 independent math tutors who were referred to us. Very little progress for a large amount of investment both time and money. Quite by accident while we were staying at the Sandman Hotel in Langley we saw a Mathnasium sign advertising their math program. 2 years at Mathnasium and he has a sold 80 percent in pre-cal grade 10 math. Words cannot express our gratitude to Sylvia and her amazing team!!

The team at Mathnasium are well trained and make such a difference in my kids learning outcomes. My youngest daughter did not like Math and was intimidated. Now after just one year in the program she is one of the top students in the class and is very confident in Math. My son was an average student in Math. Now he is a high B student and his understanding is increasing every day. The system finds the underlying reasons why your child is struggling with Math. Once the problems are identified they fix the issues and do a continual review so that the concepts stay strong. It takes time, but, if you are looking for long-term success I would highly recommend the Mathnasium of Langley. Thank you, Sylvia, Doug, and the whole team!

After only a month, our daughters confidence has increased and the odd bit of math that does come home is no longer a battle to do it.
My son was very nervous the first time we came to Mathnasium - he was worried he was going to have to take a math test and that he would fail. Dr. Sylvia assured us of the process and that it is not about taking tests but rather assessing your child's levels of understanding and that they usually leave their assembler feeling happy and excited about math. I would've have believed it u less I experienced it myself! My son ha been happily going to mathnasium for the last 2 months about 3 x a week and loves it! He is learning and able to apply his skills not only in his learning plan but also to his current work. We are so happy and proud of our son and thankful we took the step to try mathnasium. Do it! It is more than worth it!

The improvement I have seen in my boys since attending Mathnasium is incredible. Their grades have improved as well as their confidence. I no longer worry if they are getting the math foundation they need. Dr. Sylvia and her staff are great!
Sylvia and her team in Langley, BC are instrumental in helping my son navigate his way through his grade 11 pre-calculus course as well as putting together a study plan for the SAT test...a plan that is based on personal assessment of my son’s skills.

We can't say enough about Sylvia and her team at Mathnasium. Our daughter is graduating this year and the Mathnasium program has brought her from stressed and upset with her math homework every day to comfortable, confidant and excelling. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the program and especially this location to anyone who wants to help their child improve their math skills and confidence at any age or skill level. It's never too late (or early) to start!
My daughter has come back to Mathnaseum and has really enjoyed her time with the instructors. She appreciates the way the instructors encourage her and help her where she needs it the most, not wasting time on things she already knows. She just did a math test and got one of the highest marks she ever got in Math. It is wonderful to see her finally get math concepts that she previously struggled with!
As always, I have nothing but good things to say about Mathnasium. Send your child to Mathnasium in Langley and you will not regret. Your child will enjoy Math so much that you wish you had started this sooner. Mathnasium is the only place that I've seen proven results with my child and she only attends 2-3 times a week. No homework to bring home as your child learns and retain what they learn from Mathnasium.
Providing Tutor’s that my sixteen year old son can relate to has made a huge difference in the learning process for him.
At this age teenagers are still looking for ways to fit in and seeing the tutors that have come from the same school, learned from the same teachers has been instrumental in increasing the confidence he has in the whole process.
