From our first meeting felt welcoming and positive , My son who fights daily to go to school , asks can I stay longer then 1 hr ? Can I go more then once a week ? He wants to go to the program doesn't fight , and chats whole way home about what he learned. One month in he got one question wrong on his first quiz in class , where before he was well below 65% - So worth it ! Best decision and so grateful !!

I am really amazed on how it changed my son's perspective on math and believe it or not, he would ask me when will he come back to do his classes. Not only did it change his attitude towards liking math but also the result that he's really progressing in school when his teacher provided some feedback on his portfolio. I thought my son wouldn't like going to learn on his free time after school, but he loves Mathnasium. Somehow they have brought back his love of math in a caring and fun environment. Mathnasium is a commitment you make to your children’s success. If they invest themselves in the program and attend consistently the Mathnasium system will improve their understanding of mathematics and fix the unseen problems that result in poor understanding and performance. All three of my children have seen the benefits. All three were weak in math but after staying with Mathnasium One has graduated high school with honours and the other two get ‘A’s’ in Math and precalculus. It helps their confidence and benefits them in other subjects as they are not spending all their time frustrated with one subject. They can actually study the other subjects now. I often recommend Mathnasium to others and they have seen the results in their Childress well. It was so long since I had done advanced mathematics and I could not help any longer. Mathnasium was the answer and over time I have seen the results and have no hesitation in recommending their system to other families. It works!
The kids love this place. We’re fairly new but have heard from many parents that it makes a great impact on their child’s confidence and skill level. From what I’m seeing so far, I’m excited to see the positive growth in my children.

My daughter started at mathnasium at a math level 2 grades lower than she was in at school. Now 1 year later, she is in one of the higher math groups in her class. She has strengthened confidence and she feels like she can ask questions and definitely understands math better. It takes commitment to the program, and it is worth the time and financial investment.

Mathnasium is the best system to provide your children with Math success. They find the hidden missing knowledge from past understanding and over time complete the knowledge. From dread of math to confidence. The staff is great and Sylvia and Doug are both dedicated and wonderful people. I recommend Mathnasium to family, friends and others in the community. If you are looking for a solution Mathnasium is the answer. All three of my children attended Mathnasium and all have prospered. One is now in University and the other two now achieve A’s and B’s in Math. That says it all.

This past weekend, I was helping my Son complete some math homework that was due soon. I was pleasantly surprised by the following:
1. He had to help me remember how long division worked ( I could not remember the written method) -- not only did he do this effortlessly, he was very clear in his explanation to me, so I was able to remember how to do long division again! He was also enthusiastic in wanting to help me remember the process.
2. Homework with him is no longer a struggle. He is very honest with us that he still doesn't like math homework, but he now understands the importance of getting it done. Once started, he seems interested in getting it done, and not rushing, but working through the problems (this was not the case before Mathnasium). When I asked him if he wanted a break (it's a very long assignment), he said no, he wanted to do a bit more. Not only is his homework done early, any questions I pointed out as needing to be revisited, he went back and made the corrections, and immediately understood what his error was.
3. My son started the week with only one page left to complete in the long math assignment, and finished it, and handed it in early.
I'm so proud of my Son and the progress he's made in working at his math, and his approach to homework. Before Mathnasium, he hated math, he hated homework, and it was a real struggle for us. I believe he's now got a good foundation of discipline and knowledge for tackling math as he goes into high school next year, which was one of our goals when we started attending Mathnasium.
I'm convinced that although my Son has done so well, and worked so hard in grasping the importance of homework, and in developing his math skills, Mathnasium has definitely had an impact.
