I participate in the water exercise class with teacher, Jackie. I feel like I get a great workout as she explains why we are doing particular exercises and how it benefits our body. I love having music played in the background - it’s a motivator! I’ve made a lot of friends in that class and look forward to seeing them each time. I miss it when I can’t go! I love that there’s an evening class option, too!
The staff are all friendly. I like the recent renovations. I like that the Y is a very diverse place. You see all the faces of our community there connecting, playing, working out together. It is place where everyone is welcome and all are treated with dignity.
When things are broken at the Parkville Y they are immediately fixed unlike the Y in NKC.

Variety of older adult classes.
Last Friday a vehicle in the parking lot hit the door of our car so hard the paint of the vehicle that hit us is embedded into our car, not to mention the scratch. There are no security cameras in the parking lot. I prepared a short notice asking that the person who did this to do the right thing and come forward and asked the front deck if I could post it in prominent places in the Y. I was told I could only post it on the bulletin board that is hidden around the corner by the coke machines. I have been going to this Y for 15 years and didn't even know that this particular bulletin board existed. Several of my friends didn't know it was there as well. Nobody goes back there. I would like to post my notice at the Y where it can be seen. Help please.

I like the classes and kids night out. I wish your guest policy allowed guests to come more than once though.
Most important, the employees and staff are very helpful and friendly. The facilities and equipment are clean and well-maintained.
I love Pilates with Christina on Wednesday and Friday. She's really knowledgeable and her class is challenging.
Increase Sunday hours. Open earlier please.
Location cleanliness and staff
I've been a member since this branch opened—yes, I'm old. But even as my interests and abilities have changed, the Y has always offered what I needed, from playing with my then-little grandsons in the outdoor splash park we used to have to the chair yoga classes I now take twice a week. The employees and members are friendly, the facility is safe and clean, and there is a wide variety of equipment.
i like the friendship and friends i've met through the years. I would like the center to improve the machines on the second floor. They are always broken for some reason.

The friendly desk staff, clean facility, lots of classes and they are included in the monthly fee, fun instructors, so many exercise equipment options, and the social activities offered to active older adults.
Good facilities. Staff helpful, but could be friendlier. Additionally, it would be nice to reinforce through new/clear signage that the track has a reserved lane for runners. Too many slow walkers use that lane which creates safety issues.
