Outstanding functional equipment. The facility is always spot clean from top to bottom. Coffee and supplies are always full plus the employee’s are dedicated and respectful.

What does the Y do really well?

Our YMCA does MANY things extremely well; there is plenty of equipment, and such a wide variety of classes offered. I am a gym rat and have been a member at many gyms both here and in Arizona, and I have never ever had the facilities and services available to me. The Y is also kept very clean. We used one of the rooms for a birthday party when our granddaughter turned 5, and it was just awesome! The staff was great and took care of everything! We love the Y!

The men and women who work in the childcare area are amazing !!! My kids love going to their ymca school !!

Variety of all exercise classes both day and evening in large air conditioned rooms in addition to extremely large indoor pools which accommodate adult lap swimming.

What does the Y do really well?

We had swimming lessons with Alex Tu/Th 6:55pm and he's such a great swim instructor. In a short time, the kids have improved SO MUCH from their first day, and I've been pleased with and proud of the increased level of confidence my son has had in the pool. Kudos to Mr. Alex and all the swim instructors at YMCA Platte County South.

You have a lot of amenities like swimming pools, saunas etc, whereas a lot of health clubs do not.
