I really like the friendly people as I walk in the door. There is also plenty of equipment so I am not standing around waiting on anyone.
It would be nice to have a few more Row Machines though.

The Y does a nice job of keeping the equipment and facility relatively clean.
Equipment is placed such that it is relatively easy to navigate through and use safely.
Trainers are routinely friendly and helpful.
Re-tiling of the seat areas in the steam room and the new thermostat are nice. Temperature is now more consistent and warmer as appropriate in the steam room.
Wet areas are clean and nice looking after the work done in January.
The upgraded full-length exercise mats with storage racks are a nice improvement.
I've worked out at a wide variety of fitness facilities in and outside of the Kansas City metro area and the Platte County Community Center YMCA is my favorite.
The Platte County Community Center South is phenomenal. Great staff, clean facility, vast class options! My family, especially the kids, WANT to go everyday! The kids club, especially the staff, are WONDERFUL!
