The Y is normally very clean and has a good staff capable of answering questions. Sometimes it takes a while to fix a broken machine but that is to be understandable.

I have really missed the warm water joint exercising and have been going to Platte City for the past month...................................very few people use their pool, but that's ALL that I use (there or in Parkville). Was disappointed that my health insurance doesn't help pay for monthly fees (and they DO pay for several places, but NOT the Y.
The front staff knows u as well as the trainers from their classes. It is like an extended family.

Always clean, nice pools, sauna, hot tub, and all the excersize equipment you could dream of.
Class scheduling
Clean facility and friendly atmosphere. I will say I don't appreciate walkers texting or talking on their cell phones when on the upper track. Listening to mucus with headphones is one thing but when you hold up the middle lanes to carry on conversations - that is unacceptable and the staff should correct.
