its clean and lots of classes that to take and I loved swimming and water temp nice and warm, and I loved everything about it.
There was more weights and bars, plus just cable machines to. The ppl were nice to. The only thing was I wish they had one of those box jumps that where I guess sterofoam or something like that I don’t remember what it is called. But that’s about it.
Like the giant facility with plenty of cardio equipment and aerobic machines. Like using the circuit light weights and the indoor track also. And the people working there are very friendly and helpful. Have also used the heated whirlpool and steam room. Its a great place to work out and see your friends. Have even mentioned it to a few of my friends. It also has a Christian feeling to it.
The people at the front desk were absolutely wonderful. It's all about the people making your feel wonderful and welcome. Also, I absolutely love the diversity of this location. Nice selection of weight equipment and definitely cardio equipment. My only comment for improvement is that there is a sense that the location needs a deep cleaning. When I take the elevator (knee replacement) to the weight floor, I can smell the carpet. The women's restroom looked like it needed a more thorough cleaning. Also, the work out area needed a cleaning.
I enjoy going down there to the North Kansas City, YMCA, location very good staff and friendly people. Thank you for everything.
I have been a member for almost a year now & I'm in love with the experience. The entire team at YMCA is attentive and welcoming! I had a concern awhile back & it was quickly handled & taken care of. We always get a “GREAT WELCOMING” fron Debbie at the front desk! She is always so nice and helpful. Sherri is great also! They help get our day started.
The people who work at this facility truly care for the patrons they serve. This shows in the cleanliness of the facilities, the range of programs for a range of ages, the compassion they show for all, and the positive attitude they have for each other.
The location is ideal for me. The facility is well kept and maintained. All the staff members are very friendly.
The weight room is spacious and well equipped. It would be nice if the Y was open later and updated their equipment.

North Kansas City YMCA has an excellent walking, jogging and running track, very spacious and surrounded by big windows to enable to watch the outdoor while you walk indoor.
There are activities for all ages and plenty of room. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially Nick. it is by far the best YMCA in the Kansas City area. We can walk to the Parkville YMCA, but prefer to drive the 10 miles ro go to the NKCY.
Sherry at the front desk just brightens my day.
My water instructor Angela is wonderful. She has kept me coming back to exercise for a few years now.
