The North Kansas City YMCA is my happy place. The facilities are nice, they have friendly staff and many of the other members are friendly and engaging. It's a place where we can support each other in health and wellness!
The staff and members are diverse, inclusive, and accommodating. The amenities and group classes at the NKC YMCA are enough that you can usually find something that fits your needs and preferences. Location is great for us also. I really appreciate how much this location engages with the community as well, including the food pantry resource.
I love the amenities! The equipment is new and the staff is fabulous.
I like the extended hours, it's nice to be able to exercise and join a class before going to work. I like the variety of exercise opportunities and the locker room is always clean.
The very early morning employees are nice. My only problem is they have less classes in the early morning now. But I like the members and the employee so I continue to go.
The front desk people are always friendly.
The equipment is up to date and taken care of.
The sauna is what I use the most, it is clean and temperature is perfect
My personal trainer Angela Kohler is excellent. She is very knowledgeable and combines that with her experience to provide training that produces results and motivates you to continue to grow. I am 65 and she has been a big factor in the success of my total knee replacement.

I enjoy coming to the Y it allows to me socialize and improve my health. I have met some wonderful people that have become close friends some like family.

There is a feeling of community at the YMCA. The group classes are fantastic. I LOVE the instructors. It’s the best part of my day -
Class offerings, large facility with lots of amenities. Shower stalls need to be deep cleaned. Some have orange buildup.
I like using the pool and the availability of so many water class offerings.
The North Kansas YMCA is a welcoming place to be for many reasons. All ages have so many opportunities to enjoy everything that's offered to the community. The front desk staff is so friendly and helpful. Swimming, basketball, pickleball, book groups and many more activities to choice from make this the place to visit regularly.
I love Caedie's water exercise class on Monday. Such love and enthusiasm.

Our Y is much more than just programs - the outreach and services to our community make our Y the community center. Food for the poor, classes and support for those in need and those who just want to socialize . . . our Y is a special place with special people.
