I like using the pool and the availability of so many water class offerings.
The North Kansas YMCA is a welcoming place to be for many reasons. All ages have so many opportunities to enjoy everything that's offered to the community. The front desk staff is so friendly and helpful. Swimming, basketball, pickleball, book groups and many more activities to choice from make this the place to visit regularly.
I love Caedie's water exercise class on Monday. Such love and enthusiasm.

Our Y is much more than just programs - the outreach and services to our community make our Y the community center. Food for the poor, classes and support for those in need and those who just want to socialize . . . our Y is a special place with special people.
New exercise machines, very spacious, very clean, lots of classes daily "on land" and in the fabulous pool/sauna/sream room. Looking forward to a grandchild visit so I can take her to the kiddie pool and slide!

I love how nice everyone is. The front desk people are so nice every time I see them: Terri is a sweet heart. Also I love my classes that I go to. Lauren is amazing and fun. Chiro is fun and amazing too. Beth too is fun and amazing! Absolutely love coming: the amount of good feed back is encouraging and makes me feel good. Gym is always clean too. I also like that it is diverse. The only thing I don’t like is that sometimes the handicapped parking has cars that do not have disabled placards.

The front desk staff is always friendly and helpful, so the "front porch" of the Y is welcoming. The facility is very clean, given the volume of traffic. The weight room equipment is well maintained and in good working order. The weight room staff is also very friendly and knowledgeable. I have also noticed how generally attentive, thorough, and respectful the trainers are to those who are receiving personal workout regimens.

Updates throughout the facility are appreciated, especially the new circuit exercise equipment as it was much needed and a great change. The location change of equipment allows more space between each machine with a more open feeling to the space. Staff are always friendly and professional.
I love the Aqua River Challenge that Jody teaches. Previously I had gone to this class on a regular basis, until Angela was no longer teaching it and then I stopped going as they didn't have a new instructor lined up. I tried it again last Friday and loved it! I'm hoping to get back to going weekly now that they have a wonderful l instructor in place. I think the Pool at the North Kansas City is amazing and I love the Lazy River feature. The changing rooms are always clean and neat and the staff that check you in are very friendly and welcoming. The entire facility has such a lovely bright and open atmosphere that although I live just a few minutes from the Cleaver YMCA it's definitely worth the drive up North to participate in the Aqua River Challenge Class. Many thanks for providing such a great instructor, staff and facility!!!
Very clean and a nice layout. John did orientation for machines and gave me a tour. He didn’t rush and he was very thorough. I like the variety of classes. I live in Kansas by the Providence Y but the staff at North Kansas City is much more friendly.
Good gym!
Class offerings, large facility with lots of amenities. Shower stalls need to be deep cleaned. Some have orange buildup.
