The staff at the Atchison YMCA have been terrifically hospitable even with the mess of the new addition and related construction. They remain as friendly as ever, showing me photos of progress on the building, greeting me by name every day I'm in, and helping support my fitness goals. Hospitality is their great strength!

They continue to adapt and listen in order to meet the needs of the community. The staff is amazingly friendly and welcoming which help me to feel very comfortable there. My child participates in the bitty sports and the leaders and volunteers have made him feel very special and appreciated. He is always happy when he is called by name.

I've only been a member for a week and plan to use mostly the exercise equipment.
I had an introduction to the machines on my first visit. I now have used them 4 times and will need to ask for someone to check me out to see if I am doing them correctly. I will need to make an appointment, I guess, because there isn't a trained staff member on the floor when I am there.
Availability of all kinds of workout machines and classes, and a friendly atmosphere.
I’m grateful for the family friendly atmosphere. My son goes to the wonderful ladies in kidzone while I get my workout on. He’s five and is always excited to go back. It’s a great feeling!
The Platte City YMCA has lots of programs, helpful and friendly employees and it is very clean.
Keep local kids off the streets
Provide a facility that my family can go to exercise for a fair price. The Y has many amenities for getting in shape. They have excellent staff, that's willing to help us with any questions we have about fitness. We really get a bang for our buck at the Y.
Swim classes. Becky, the instructor, is great.
Include the community in their plans, activities, and sense of welcome. There is something for everyone and the encouragement to join in.
They are very friendly and it is a lot more clean in the last 6 months.

The Y provides a wide variety of programs and resources for its members.
It provides a "third place" in the community and provides a space to be active and play.
They offer a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. They provide a variety of children's activities.
