We LOVE how much our kids have benefited from mathnesium. During the pandemic both of our kids raised their math scores from at grade level to "above grade level." The online option is fantastic and we hope it stays in place even after the pandemic.
According to our children, the staff and teachers are very good in explaining and nice when they are doing it. The kids do not complain about having to attend Mathnasium, unlike other after school programs they used to attend. My husband and I are very pleased that Mathnasium is able to teach math without any unnecessary distractions. Even through the pandemic that we are living in, Mathnasium was able to hold the classes without too much interruption. Thank you, we are very pleased that we enrolled our kids in Mathnasium.
A very organized business with personalization that is valued. The Instructors have a a calm , supportive energy which is so appreciated. Especially for those of us who find math difficult. And we are seeing growth from Mathnasium's structure of learning.
Mathnasium has helped bridge the math gap as a result of changing schools and has given my son more confidence to tackle problems in class. His grades have improved from a C to an A and there are no more homework tears.

With remote learning due to COVID, my son was losing a lot of ground in higher math and I was worried that he wouldn’t be prepared for college. Also, it was just sad to see a kid who had so much enthusiasm for math lose confidence and interest. The tutoring sessions have been very helpful. The tutors are friendly and he enjoyed working with them. He also told me that they way they teach it “makes sense”. They go through topics thoroughly before moving to the next thing . I couldn’t be happier with the program and he progress he’s making.
I thought it was an excellent way to firm up my sons math foundation (it was a bit weak). I gave it a 9 because he did not enjoy all the review.
the kids really seem to like the instructors. I can see both of my children already growing their math skills in only our second month. It is cumbersome that the scheduling system is separate from the general site. It is also difficult to see upcoming appointments as we have accidently double booked our kids without knowing since we did not see the appointments on their calendars. We have figured it out now but we had to call for help and honestly it should be easier to see previously scheduled appointments than it currently is. The website is easy to use for the children and the instant feedback from different instructors keeps the message fresh and slightly different.
We were very familiar with the center based experience and I was a little doubtful about my daughter's ability to be successful online. However, she has actually grown to prefer it and when a spot opened up for in person instruction, my daughter chose to remain online. The instructors have done a great job of keeping her engaged and we have the added bonus of zero commute time. But the best part is that my daughter feels confident about her math skills again. She has shifted from "feeling dumb" at the beginning of the school year to being given enrichment assignments by her teacher as a result of her acceleration. I fully credit Mathnasium with her progress and highly recommend!
Our 5th Grader has been at Mathnasium since 3rd Grade after struggling with math at the end of 2nd Grade.
By the end of 3rd Grade they were caught up with 2nd and 3rd Grade math and working on 4th Grade math. At the end of 4th Grade they were put into the 6th Grade Math TAG program. And after receiving an A this last Qtr for 6th Grade math, they have been bumped up to 7th/8th Grade math.
Our child has has been going to Mathnasium 4-6x week and has developed a real love for math. The time they spend at Mathnasium more than doubles the amount of math time offered by the local public school math program. And as the focus is only on our child, they are moving MUCH faster thru the material. The ROI of every hour in Mathnasium vs School math (even TAG math) is easily 3-4x. They are essentially learning in 1hr at Mathnasium what takes a week to teach at school. And I am being conservative as after 2 years of Mathnasium, not only are they caught up, they are 1-2 years ahead and this gap will continue to grow! They have already indicated they want to teach math at Mathnasium when in High School. So in our particular case, Mathnasium has been quite the successful experience.
Mathnasium staffs are fantastic! They are patient, attentive, and fun tutors. They make extra effort to understand each kid's potentials and struggles to come up with a proper plan to address the gaps. Our family has been with Mathnasium for many years and we are grateful for all the help and support our kid has received.

Mathnasium has been such a blessing thru covid. With reduced school education our 3 children have had the opportunity to gain great skill and confidence in math. All the instructors are fantastic and it been a great opportunity for our children to learn to work online independently with a variety of new teachers.
