My daughter had been struggling in math for the first quarter of the year, having a difficult time knowing how to persevere when stuck at a roadblock with a problem. Her teachers and myself know that she knows the material when she puts her mind to it. But the lack in confidence really set her back. She was not happy about starting math tutoring at first. Once she met with Miss Beckah, and the rest of the staff, she looks forward to her sessions! We get a polar opposite reaction now and she eagerly waits for me to update our calendar with her sessions. Her grades have improved and her teacher has noticed a big difference!

I can definitely tell the difference in my son’s confidence level when doing math now. They make math fun which makes him enjoy learning. I wish I had enrolled him at Mathnasium much sooner!

We love the Columbia Mathnasium! Their director, Rachel is friendly, passionate about math strategies and growth, and a joy to work with. The counselors are thoughtful in their communication and super helpful. The center is clean, welcoming and a fun place for kids to growth their math foundation.
We love the Mathnasium at Mt.Airy. They have great teachers who can teach higher level high-school math. They are flexible and understanding when extra classes are needed. The center director, Matt is always reachable and will help meet your child’s needs.
We love the attention our kids get at this center and feel that the team is invested in their growth. The set reasonable expectations for the children and help set guidelines for parents.

My son has been with them for a few weeks now and we has to change his schedule a few times for oir personal reason. The new owner of this branch is very kind person. She was helpful and cooperative throughout the time. I requested them to assist my son on few things that has to be fixed this summer and they are diligently working on it.
We have been with this Mathnasium center for one year and it has been the best return on investment for our family! I say investment because it’s not inexpensive but the teachers are outstanding and the environment is encouraging! We come 3 times a week for an hour each and my kid completes his school homework there which is one less thing to worry about. If you put in the time, you’re going to see results, guaranteed. Even my kid’s MAP exam scores went up, but most importantly I was concerned that the school curriculum was not comprehensive and I could not follow it because there are no textbooks anymore and these new math strategies are so different. This center’s teachers and staff truly care about my kid’s progress and it warmed my heart when they said I should be so proud of my kid because of the hard work he demonstrates! When I ask questions about his progress or questions about topics and areas of improvement from his school, the staff address the questions quickly and help whenever I need to reschedule a session. My child’s confidence level in math has soared and I think it will help him in the long term through middle and high school. It’s also nice they have a rewarding program that keep kids motivated and we have enjoyed the math parties; who would have thought they’re actually fun especially the pie in the face contest! Thank you to All the teachers and staff, you are truly amazing and the difference you have made in our lives as a support system is beyond anything I can personally give you. I hope you’re proud of the work you do for these kids and the positive lasting impact you’re making in their lives! Thank you!
