Doug and his team have been great for my son, whose math grade has improved tremendously! Doug even emails the school math teacher directly to keep my son on track with the curriculum and exams. The incentive program for the kids is also a great motivator!

Mathnasium has helped my son so much! The tutors and the program have covered areas where my son was having problems and gave him the confidence to successfully complete his math class at school. Not only has he gained confidence in math, that confidence has flowed over into his other subjects! We love everything about Mathnasium. Doug and his teachers are all very professional and work beautifully with their students. The atmosphere is quiet and pleasant and very conducive to learning. Our 10 y.o. son has been a student at Mathnasium for a little over a year now, and his math abilities and confidence have greatly improved. We are very strong advocates of Mathnasium!

We are so happy that our two teenage daughters attend Mathnasium! We initially won a scholarship through our middle school years ago.
We have witnessed such progress that we decided to keep going forward with the tutoring, reaching three years now. Our children have greatly improved their grades up to B plus and A plus. One daughter has been accepted into an accelerated math program within our Middle School.

We LOVE Mathnasium of Portsmouth! Doug and his staff have been so amazing working with our son. We started him in the program in June and he was at a mid 4th grade level. He has made wonderful progress in two months and is loving math now. He looks forward to his sessions because Mathnasium makes it fun and helps build our son's confidence in his learning!

Both our boys (ages 10 and 12) have enjoyed their summer experiences at Portsmouth's Mathnasium. It makes sense to keep them stimulated during the summer break so they're not spending the first 2 months back at school relearning last year's math. What's even better is they actually LIKE going to mathnasium!....this is in stark contract to other education services we've tried in the past. Thanks Doug Sterns for your terrific management!

Seeing my son gain confidence and successfully grasp concepts that he was previously having difficulties with is amazing. I'm impressed by each tutor who has work with my son and the feedback we receive after each session. Each interaction we've had has been positive. The initial assessment testing allowed the center to identify what areas needed immediate attention and that's where they started. We plan on continuing the tutor through the school year to keep our son on track and give him the extra assistance he needs. I highly recommend Mathnasium!
You know the program is successful when your child wants to go back every week.... throughout the summer!

Mathnasium has been a pleasure to deal with. They are professional, efficient and provide an excellent quality of tutoring tailored specifically for your childs needs. It is not inexpensive, but I consider it money well spent as an investment in my son's future. He received decent grades in math, but I knew he did not have a thorough understanding of the required math concepts. This summer we are turning that around!

Mathnasium has been a pretty good supplementary study time for my daughter and she has made some very good progress in terms of her ability to recognize and solve word problems, something I have been quite worried about. The schedule was pretty flexible and Doug Stearns has been very flexible with our schedule.
