If you don’t go down the private school route, and your school doesn’t have a math enrichment counselor, I’d head straight over to Mathnasium. Few parents could offer the kind of repetition and instant feedback that is available to them here. I love it and truthfully so do my kids.

My son has been enrolled in mathnasium for few months now. He doesn’t get grades at school yet so I can’t quantity his improvement. However, his math confidence level had definitely improved tremendously. He makes a lot less silly mistakes and his math understanding is a lot more solid and I definitely credit mathnasium, Scott and his team for that. He loves going to mathnasium and a lot of time he doesn’t want to leave when I come to get him from mathnasium. Mathnasium has made learning math fun and enjoyable and no one can say “no” to that :).

It was painful to get my daughter to do any sort of math homework. Even ten minutes of math work was filled with complaining and tears. From her first day of Mathnasium, she has demonstrated an enthusiasm that I have never seen before. She can do one hour at Mathnasium easily and always comes out smiling! I am so grateful that the team there has been successful with instilling a love for math!

I think Scott has a good perception of what my son needs to do well. The environment is fun for the kids. They can earn points and trade these in for lava lamps of sets of lego. My son was very reluctant around maths. Now he is a lot brighter.

We could not be happier with the choice we have made taking our daughter to Mathnasium! Her test and homework scores have significantly improved, and most importantly, her confidence. Scott and his amazing team take the time needed for each individual student, if they are struggling, or needing to be challenged. My daughter feels so comfortable at Mathnasium, and looks forward to going as much as possible. The instructors are top-notch, and extremely patient and thorough. I have recommended Mathnasium to all of my friends because it is the BEST!

Mathnasium has changed my daughter's whole outlook on Math. We were initially dealing with frustration and tears when it came to trying to help her with her homework. Now she is able to have assistance with her homework at Mathnasium, while at the same time continuing to review the necessary skills to keep her moving forward. Her grades have significantly improved at school, her confidence has been lifted, and it is all due to Scott and his amazing team at Mathnasium! We could not be more grateful.
