My daughter went from scoring a 16% on her CA school MAPS testing to 89% in 1 year! Mathnasium helped her achieve this. They were excellent at evaluating her, seeing the holes, and getting them filled in. They told us she’d need a year to catch up to grade level and they were right. We enrolled our daughter in Mathnasium’s program after learning in her third trimester that she was behind grade level in math. Her confidence in the subject was shaken and she was going down the psychological path of “I'm not good at math”. With the help of mathnasium’s program and teachers, her proficiency and confidence has blossomed!! We can’t thank Mathnasium’s teachers and center director enough for their educational support, and more importantly showing her that if she believes in herself, works hard at the material, she can accomplish great things!! My kids love mathnasium. Aaron is great and has made so many great improvements. Love how he has scaled back the candy and junk food. My kids math scores have really improved. Really appreciate how he spends time to individualize their learning plan. Only suggestions would be to continue to limit distractions from other kids. I think certain kids can get very disruptive even after being told to stop and also to continue to eliminate candy.

My daughter loves going to Mathnasium because the tutors are friendly, the rewards are enticing and she has made friends there and gained both confidence and proficiency in math.
My son has never been more confident about math. All the teachers make it fun and are close by to lend a helping hand. He also adores the post-math chess games and rewards! We’re thrilled to have Mathnasium in the neighborhood!
We started with Mathnasium during the pandemic - it was a much appreciated addition to what we were getting from remote learning. Our experience with the self-paced program has been so positive, we have no plans to stop! It’s a supportive environment, Grayson likes ALL the tutors. We are grateful for this community resource!
My two kids were originally a little remitting go. Who wants to do extra Math?? However they have since enjoyed it. It’s a lovely mixture of work and fun. The tutors are all fun, engaging and super helpful.
The punch cards, prizes and snacks are a big incentive to get pages done!

We love Mathnasium! Just a few things with the new ownership - do you require the kids to wear masks inside? Even with reinforcing this with my daughter, she is still young and needs reminders. Covid is spreading so quickly and so easily, it just makes me nervous. I would feel more reassured if mask wearing was mandated inside and they can eat outside.
Also, how can kids get extra help that aligns with what they are learning in class>

We love the flexibility of Mathnasium. Whether in person or on zoom, booking an appointment it’s so easy. We use the online session more because it works with her schedule. The owner is also very quick to respond to any issues.
Scott is a calm, supportive presence. The tutors are all sweet and helpful. Grayson loves coming every week. It has been the support we needed. We started during the pandemic but have no plans to stop!

My 2 kids never been big fans of maths but now they are!
I think for them is the fact they feel they are part of a community where they can have support. The punch cards help too, keep them motivated but they are also very proud to get good scores when they do their “tests”.
I love that they have assessments so they can work exactly on what they need! Best investment ever!

Mathnasium has been a great experience for our 3rd grade daughter. She was feeling lost at school and needed the extra reinforcement of basic skills. Mathnasium really dives into foundational concepts. The testing from level to level helps focus on topics that she needs extra work on. We are very happy with the progress and would recommend it.

We have used Mathnasium Mill Valley for 1:1 tutoring for my now 10th grader since she was in 6th grade. It has been extremely helpful in terms of preparing her for tests.
