I believe Mathnasium has definitely help my high schooler with Algebra, however it's expensive. Monthly tuition is close to what I paid for private school tuition, so by way of comparison it seems pretty pricey. Ideally, the CCSD would have better teachers such that tutoring was not as needed. However, this is not Mathnasium's problem and in fact is likely a big factor in why the prices charged still see us customer's, because we're stuck. With an extremely busy high schooler who travels and has many after school committments, I don't necessarily feel that we are able to get the best value for the dollars spent. I'd much rather pay on an hourly basis, though I understand the need for a steady reliable income stream to cover staffing and rent expenses. I'm hoping and praying my younger son does not need tutoring, simply because of the high cost.
I truly appreciate the friendly staff and the supportive environment! My children are excelling in their math classes due to their attendance at Mathnasium :)

My son is close to finishing up his third year at Mathnasium. He was just starting middle school when we found Mathnasium. At that time, his attitude was that he could never get good grades likes his older brother and he "would never make the honor roll". He is now a nearly straight A student. Mathnasium helped him not only understand math concepts better, but helped him in his confidence that he could be successful in other subjects as well. I attribute that 100% to the staff at Mathnasium. Consistent, regular attendance is key. It's like going to the gym. A person cannot get in shape by exercising 1 or 2 times per month. I cannot recommend Mathnasium high enough.

Mathnasium has been a great resource for my daughter. Started her early and stuck with it. She loves to go and her math scores are high. It’s really given her a solid foundation and confidence in math.
In just 6 weeks at mathnasium I’ve seen my daughters grades steadily progress. She doesn’t LOVE math yet but I give it a couple months and I won’t be surprised if she does. She looks forward to seeing her tutors and tells me after each session what she’s learned and knows now!
