We have been a part of the mathnasium family for the past 3 years, helping both of my daughters to build a strong foundation in math.
My daughter was way behind in her math skills and it would take her 2 hours to do a 1-page homework sheet. She would shut down when we tried to explain it to her or help and we were all frustrated. As soon as she started at Mathnasium, all of that stopped. She rarely asks for help any more and her skills are almost completely up to speed with her grade level. She enjoys going, too!
My son looks forward to going to Mathnasium. This speaks volumes, in my opinion.
He used to attend a different tutoring center and it was a fight to get him there every time, not to mention the extra homework we had to take him and struggle through.

I have two kids in the program. Both are enthusiastic to go and are happy while they are there. Although it's only been a couple of weeks, I see their confidence growing!
My son asks to go to Mathnasium even on nights when he doesn't have homework. I can't Think of higher praise than that.
My daughters grade is math were D’s and F’s prior to coming to Mathnasium. In the last 2 years, her grade in math are now A’s and it has given her confidence not only in math but in her other classes too!! She now raises her hand in math class to answer the teachers questions!! Very thankful to Mathnasium and the instructors!!

Cannot say enough good things about Mathnasium. My son started last school year as a 6th grader and he was not a fan of math. Doing it on our own, homework ended in frustration nearly every night. The team at Mathnasium was able to explain math in ways I couldn't, and most important, in ways my son understood. He never once complained about going to Mathnasium (and we were there 3-4 nights each week for the entire school year). The school year ended with my son having straight A's in math for the entire year. The program works if you commit to putting in the necessary time.
My son is a quiet sufferer, however, when he had the opportunity to work with mathnasium staff he felt comfortable learning.
I highly recommend this program, it has helped my daughter to become more confident in Math. Many of the instructors will go above and beyond to help my daughter.

I love that there's not a set time that he has to be there - we can pop in whenever.
However, I wish it was as open longer each day. Sometimes the day gets away from
us and it's too late to go. I have already recommended Mathnasium to two families, but the
open hours didn't work for either. Darn!

Not only has my daughter’s math grades gone up significantly, she also now has confidence when it comes to math. In less than 6 months at Mathnasium my daughter has made more progress in math than she has made in any school year with CCSD. Nick and the crew at the Green Valley location are math superheroes!
