It’s been a wonderful experience with mathnasium. It’s a great program where your child will learn a lot of math.
The people at Mathnasium are wonderful. They are so nice and helpful. During the evaluation, my son opened up about how he felt that his teacher was more interested in moving on to the next lesson than she was in how well he had mastered it. That was a huge revelation to me and frankly made me very sad that he had spent the school year struggling and feeling this way. The folks at Mathnasium focused on solidifying his foundation in his grade level of math and helping him to master things that he had not done before. It was amazing to pick him up and have him thrilled to tell me how well he was doing on a particular part of his curriculum. I could see his confidence rise with the added help that they provided him.

My child enjoys being able to attend tutoring and not have homework as well as improve in much needed math skills at his own pace.
My daughter needed help in High school (9th grade) math and now has A's and B's!
My son got tutoring for 6th grade math and scored pass-advanced on his SOL! And that is without a full year of tutoring! The staff is nice and Rachel is very helpful! Rachel seems to sincerely care about the children that are being tutored, and will honestly tell you what she thinks the problem is (she wants to ensure the children WANT to be there to learn).

Wonderful instructors. They have taught my three kids more ways than I could imagine.
I love how they taught about math, but sometimes may need to push kids to do a bit more if they can.
I have been very pleased with my daughters reaction to Mathnasium. I was a little afraid she might become bored with the work or stressed with the classes, but neither has happened. She is eager to go in and comes out happy. I feel that her school work is benefiting from the extra practice, and in fact she teaches me things, some times!
My son has become more confident in his skills and this has helped him a lot.
I notice my child exhibits much more confidence in math. She is helping other students in her class now, as well since she's attended Mathnasium.
