My kids are 8 and 10. Before Mathnasium, they struggled with basic concepts and I was afraid they were getting left behind. When they completed their initial assessments, I shocked that they tested several grades below their actual grade levels. After a year of Mathnasium, both kids are excelling at math. I brought my 7th grade daughter to Mathnasium. The director (Jaghik) was excellent with my moody pre-teen who hated math. We spent three months at Mathnasium and my daughter ended up with the highest score in her 8th grade NWEA/MAPs test. Thank you Mathnasium!!

We had a great experience at Mathnasium Park Ridge. It really helped my 7th, 5th and 3rd grade daughters regain confidence in their math skills. The director is awesome and worked well with my anxious 7th grader!
It was hard talking my girls into going to the class. As soon as they started they were encouraged to continued and felt immediate improvement. They really like going to the class. I'm sure it will show in their grades as well. I wish I pushed them to go earlier.

My teenage daughter and 11 year old son both come to Mathnasium in Park Ridge. No matter who teaches them they have been wonderful. My daughter has gone to other expensive hourly tutors in the area and each time says I don't want to go back they were not helpful. The experience is quite different for her at Mathnasium where she feels confused about a math subject walking in but is confident about the subject walking out. My 11 yr. old son, would come home crying that he has math homework. When I signed him up at Mathnasium, he instantly liked everyone there and wasn't anxiety ridden over math homework. He ended up scoring high on his MAP testing in math and his school teacher suggested accelerated math in middle school for him. I don't know what their secret is but I'm so glad they've come to Park Ridge.
