I like the part that it is very open ended and focused to children’s needs where they require more help and tutoring .
Despite having their own curriculum , they also attend and assist in home work problem solving on need .

Flexible hours
My daughter goes without a problem and her math confidence and skills appeared to improve quite quickly.
Knowledgeable and organized. Gaps were found right away and a plan put into place to learn the skills that she was missing. Methods helped my child understand concepts not grasped before. Suddenly, I have a child that embraces Math in her everyday life. All of this happened so quickly. Kicking myself for not doing this years ago.
I have been very pleased with Mathnasium ~ the kids are happy to go and this is really helping them firm up their foundation skills. The only criticism I would have are the limited hours. With camp and vacation schedules, it is proving difficult to find times that work.

My daughter gets great grades in Math, but has extreme holes in her knowledge base. My daughter as a good student, but not at the gifted level, and is not a behavior problem. This puts her in that forgotten about group at the public school. She is capable of learning so much more, but how she is being taught makes her regress somehow. My daughter loved mathnasium because they teach her at her level and her questions get answered. The difference in her test scores when she goes to mathnasium and when we stopped going speaks for itself.
My son who is sophomore really likes Mathnasium. He wanted to sign up the very first day after the school year ended. He likes the flexibility and the opportunity to stay 2 hours at the time. He feels that this is helping him prepare for the SAT test. He likes teachers. We will continue to use Mathnasium during the next school year to help him keep good grade and study continuously for the SAT next year.
My child now enjoys math and her school test scores progressed.
I am so glad that we enrolled my son in Mathnasium as the help he received there assisted him in improving his math grade. I only wish we had enrolled him sooner!

My children have been going to Mathnasium of Park Ridge for several years and we, children included, couldn't be happier. The program is very good and the instructors are patient, conscientious, and encourage progress. The only complaint my children have is that they only stay an hour. I highly recomend mathnasium of Park Ridge if your child needs tutoring or extra work to meet thier potential if they are not challenged at school.
