I highly recommend Mathnasium to anyone wanting to increase their kids's knowledge of Math.
In my particular case, my daughter was already advanced in math and I was looking for a place that would teach her advanced topics. We had tried other tutoring centers in the League City area with no improvements (there was one that she took the previous year and after that, her math STAAR test actually declined).
We started Mathnasium end of 2017 and she got 100% in the STAAR test she took on April 2018. Mathnasium quickly detected topics she was struggling with and reinforced tutoring in those areas, while also giving her a well rounded coverage of all grade topics, and even above-grade topics.
I love they really build a personalized plan for every kid based on their level and the goal the parents indicate; and you can measure it quickly in the results you see in class and tests.

I have seen a huge improvement in my son's math skills since he started mathnasium. He always reminds us to bring him thereafter school. I know that before he started mathnasium he never loved math at all, now he plans to do advance math in the next school year.

My daughter has been going to mathnasium for a year. She started going her senior year of high school. She had zero confidence in herself and her ability to do math. She had struggled for so many years she had convinced herself that she couldn't do it. After starting mathnasium she quickly gained confidence and began passing math! I am happy to say with the help of the awesome tutors she has just finished her first semester of college math! She took two math classes and passed both. My only regret is that we didn't start sooner.
We have been using Mathnasium for a little over a year. During that time, our child's grades has steadily improved. During the past semester, our child's semester grade for 8th grade pre-AP math was 97.
Kyle began attending Mathnasium about a month ago his grade in geometry was a 53. Today on his semester exam he made a 92 and he finished this nine weeks with an 84 average! Not only did his grade rise 31 points, his self confidence has also risen. I can’t thank you enough for helping him get back on track!
Mathnasium was a life-changing experience for my daughter. She is in Connections Academy and with their help, my 10th grader is taking college-level courses and by the time she leaves she will have two years of college math behind her!

My son has always loved math and has done well up until the fifth grade when his grades fell. I wanted to place him in pre-AP math for sixth grade, but did not feel as if elementary school prepared him for the level of challenge. He was not very confident in his math skills, even though he picks it up easily. However, having the affinity for a subject and performing well in school are two very different things.
I enrolled him in Mathnasium over the summer to make sure he was ready for an honors level course. We have continued into the school year. He has maintained an A average in sixth grade pre-AP math all semester long. He has received A's on his class tests. He is more confident in his math skills, and he is learning to pace himself and write out his work in the way that's required to do well in school. He is learning how to double check his work, which is something he did not throughout elementary, and is needed for his state tests. I am hoping he gains the confidence to do well on his exams, something he has had difficulty with in the past. Overall, he is learning important habits and skills that he wll be able to carry through his school years.
