My daughter (8 1/2) is currently in her second month at Mathnasium. She has looked forward to going ever since day 1. I was shocked since she has always struggled with math. I love that she wants to go and enjoys her time there. She often wishes she could stay longer than an hour each day lol.
It's to early to tell if her work at Mathnasium is translating at school and increasing her grades (I do hope it does).
One thing that I would like to see improved is a way to see how my daughter is doing so far. I've went inside and asked and they showed me her binder and said she's working hard. But I am unsure of how much she's actually learned and in what area's she's gained knowledge.
I highly recommend Mathnasium. My daughter's grade went up from 63 to 88 within three weeks.
I could not believe when I got a text that my daughter Prishaa scored 107/100 in MATH CBA!! Initially I thought it was her teacher texting any first reaction was to call Ms. Sheena at Mathenasium, as she had more confidence in my daughter scoring full marks than me š. Thatās how close the relationship Directors at Mathenasium has made with us in last few years. Mathenasium not only did Instill the love for Math in my daughter but also gave confidence to her and us that she can do a great job. Thank you all for everything that you have done for us! Dauowas very reluctant to go initially but after the first time she has willingly gonnand been happy going in and coming out. Her confidence has improved immensely since she started recently. So grateful for the gentleness and kindness that they have shown her.
Our experience at Mathnasium of League City has been amazing and wonderful. My two sons are attending Mathnasium and absolutely love going. My 8 year old has been attending Mathnasium for three years and my 5 year old started late spring of 2018. My 8 year old son who is currently in 3rd grade took his math benchmark and scored a 96. He also took a math benchmark in second grade and scored a 96. My 5 year old is currently in kindergarten and is excelling in math. He has met the standards for kindergarten mathematics. Sheena and her staff have taught my children to enjoy and most important facilitate the understanding of math. Ms. Sheena is very organized and very compassionate towards her students. Her staff is well trained and also very caring to the students. Thanks to her and her incredible staff my boys are excelling in mathematics!!! I highly recommend Mathnasium of League City!!!!!
Mathnasium has helped my daughter go from failing to excelling in 6th and 7th grade GT math. I've also referred several friends who are very happy as well.
Our daughter's grades increased dramatically along with her understanding of basic mathematics. She has so much confidence and isn't embarrassed when the teacher calls on her for an answer. My daughter had amazing help for a few years at Mathnasium. We loved the professionalism and expertise. She went from a student who did not like Math to a student who has a better understanding and is not so reluctant.
The environmental at Mathesium League City was safe, clean and inviting. I never felt apprehensive to leave my daughter there.
Sheena was my daughters teacher for a few years, she was patient, comforting and very knowledgeable. My daughter loved going every week to work with Sheena. This summer my daughter had to take a calculus entrance exam to see if she was calculus ready, well she scored higher than what was expected and she will start her freshman year at UT Austin in college calculus. The assessment Mathnasium (League City) provided our family prior to enrollment accurately identified our son's strengths and weaknesses in greater detail than any other assessment he had done before. With the information provided by the assessment, Mathnasium has been able to provide instruction specifically geared toward our son and he, in turn, has enjoyed the tutoring experience.
He likes that he has the opportunity to move quickly through concepts and content areas he understands, while being provided additional time and instruction over concepts where his needs are greater. It is clear the director and the entire staff are truly interested in our son's needs and goals, making him always feel welcome and thoroughly supported.

Everyone is very nice and knowledgeable. My daughter is learning a lot.
I have recommended two families to join Mathnasium for the kids. My son never gets tired of going. He loves the director and the tutors as well. He comfortable with the staff enough to tell them when he doesn't understand a concept they are teaching. He reminds me of his days to go, that's how much he loves it there!
