Student Testimonials
Excellent yoga with passionate instructors.
Great instructors and clean facility!
Can you add 15lb weights for sculpt class? Most other studios have them but Clarendon does not. The heaviest is 12 and there are only a few sets. Thanks!
I like the variety of classes and also the different instructors. They are all very knowledgeable and professional. I really love this studio!
Convenient location, great modern facilities, kind and knowledgeable instructors and a relaxed humble vibe. Good mild-hot temp in the studio as well.
Sculpt crushes me every time! I love the upbeat music and motivating instructors.
Love Jenn's classes! Highly recommend!
I love how encouraging the instructors are. Each time I’ve visited I’ve gotten the best workout.

I like how th
Great teachers
For the most part teachers are great. I have had really great classes in Clarendon recently with Kelsey Clark, Courtney, Patrick, and Monica!
It's an incredible work out and I always leave my session refreshed and centered.
Emily Broyles is one of the BEST teachers I've had. Hands down. I can't wait to go to another one of her classes!
I enjoy the workout and the atmosphere of the studio. Corepower is an intense workout without giving me an easy-out to give up on myself. The locker room is a bit small and the classes seem a bit expensive but I think I will be coming back, so it must be worth it!
Loved Anna’s C1 class! Will definitely be back again.
Great instructor, nice clean facility, and very convenient location for me! I love the HPF classes :)
I had a great yoga sculpt class with Chyna earlier this week!
Great studio; friendly and clean.
I'd recommend having Lysol wipes handy though so participants can wipe down mats after use.
CorePower truly perpetuates the integrity of a yoga practice in the middle of a non-stop city and makes coming to my mat feel like coming home.
I really, really enjoy the classes and the atmosphere that CorePower offers. I think they're instructors are very well disciplined and offer a true flow that is inspiring and encouraging to their students.
The Clarendon CPY studio is very modern and well organized. I recently moved to Clarendon from DC, where I regularly attended classes at the City Center, DuPont Circle, and Georgetown studios. I take 1-2 Sculpt classes a day and love CPY, so I'm thrilled to be living just a few minutes away from this studio. So far I've been pleased with Clarendon, but there are a few items of constructive feedback I'd like to offer:
1) The morning Sculpt classes in DC start at 6 am, whereas they are at 630 in Clarendon. City Center has a 6 am and a 715 am Sculpt every weekday morning, which is perfect for those who would like more than one option before heading to work. It would be fantastic if Clarendon could also do a 6 am and a 715 am. For some people, 630-730 does not give them enough time to take a class and get ready for work in the morning. Others may be more likely to attend a class in the morning if it were at 715 instead of 630. There are so many classes in the evening that there's no question the Clarendon studio could handle the quick turnaround. I personally am a 6 am person, and the 630 am classes are hard to fit in. I prefer going before work so I know I've checked that box in case the day unravels. The evenings are extremely crowded, which makes the mornings even more appealing.
2) Now that it's summer, some of the Sculpt classes have been outrageously hot. I'm very used to the heat, but some have been too hot for most students. Some of the teachers are good about opening the door or turning down the heat; others are not. It would be helpful to remind them to check in with students about how they're doing during the class to ensure everyone is safe. That's not to say the door should be open the whole time, but it simply could be a matter of turning down the heat a degree or two. I'm very used to the heat, but I've been surprised with the temperature in some classes-- especially when they're very crowded.
3) The great thing about CPY is that teachers follow the basic structure but also put their own mark on a class. That said, I've noticed a fair amount of inconsistency among the quality of some of the Clarendon Sculpt instructors. I attended one class in which the entire sequence was just the warmup Sun A and Sun Bs. There were no cardio, legs (squats/lunges), no arms (biceps, etc.) segments. That class left me feeling as if I had wasted a whole hour and not gotten much out of it. I haven't experienced that in a DC class.
Thank you for considering this feedback! Namaste!
Instructors.
I loved the classes!
Amazing exercise, outstanding staff/teachers.
Great facility and warm instructors. I like knowing what to expect for each type of class as well. Only recommendation I’d make is to make sure instructors use Sanskrit names as well as English names before they cue each pose. Thanks!
Jenn's class on Thursday at noon is fantastic. It is always different and always a challenge.
Nice facilities, great instructors!
Everything especially Anna

its a great combo of exercise and mindfulness
