Mathnasium makes math fun. I had never seen kids look forward to their math class. My kids have become so much more confident and capable in math since they attend mathnasium.
The kids enjoy it. Their math scores are improving at school which is great and although my daughter says she doesn't like math at school she seems to be doing well. I don't love that they are eating so much candy, but I guess that is fine as they don't get too much in general.

Mathnesium has provided my son with strong foundation and support in math as he has grown through his school career. I appreciate that he has tutors available during the week for homework and the flexibility in scheduling.
My kids enjoy going to Mathnasium. They get close personal attention in a fun environment and it seems to work well. The only reason it's not a 10 is that it is expensive and if we're not paying attention to holiday schedules, we pay for lessons we don't use.

I’m very happy to suggest Mathnasium because you learn without pressure, following your own path! You can be very fast on one topic but take longer on a different one! The learning process is personalized without feeling the peer pressure. You are in completion only with yourself and you can decide to invest in the learning curve as much time as you want finding the right balance between math, school, extra curricular activities etc…
I'm so grateful to the Mathnasium staff for working with my kids where they are at any given session--sometimes totally engaged and sometimes less so. The pressure is low so the outcome is always excellent and the macro-level progress is undeniable! Mathnasium has it nailed: make it fun and approachable and the kids will learn to love being curious, learning new concepts, and grow pride in their achievements.

My son has excelled in math at school. He has gained confidence, the ability to exercise his ability to formulate math problems by using the strategies the tutors have taught him, and has brought his grade up to As and Bs. He has been able to work on staying focused and being responsible for his assignments.

The math is the right level for my son.
Since joining Mathnasium, my 10-year-old daughter has become more confident with math. We send her there three times a week. She is excited to get a reward card or points each time. With all the encouragement from her tutors, she is able to move up the curriculum step by step.
Overall my daughter likes the experience here and is indeed improving her math skills. The teaching and learning style is more relaxed than some other math programs and it allows her to progress at her own pace.
It is good that I get a weekly up date on progress, but it would be more helpful if I could occasionally view the completed worksheets so I can see the actual work she is doing. This would allow me to be able to talk with her in specifics on the work she is doing. I feel this is important so that I can engage my daughter in her learning.
Our kids love Mathnasium, do their homework without prompting, and look forward to their sessions. We've come for different kinds of enrichment (a child needing to reinforce concepts she had difficulty with, another child who loves math and is seeking a challenge) and both have had a great experience.

Melissa is a class act. She is responsive, patient, efficient, thoughtful, proactive and very receptive to feedback. We have had some less than positive experiences with certain tutor but I have always felt able to tell Melissa direct and know that she trusts us not to kick up a fuss without good reason. I’m sure it’s hard to retain good tutors and sometimes there is a maturity issue with some of the tutors we have had but if we are with Melissa for the session, I always know my daughter will get a quality experience.
