At Mathnasium, the focus is on true learning by making the process very comfortable for young learners. Results are evident when we see Math doesn’t intimidate our son, rather he looks at it as learning and problem solving opportunity! I appreciated the candid feedback about the skills my children had coming into the program. There's so much more to the instruction than a center on getting homework done or preparing for the test (although I appreciate that also!) but addressing any fundamental missing or non-mastery of skills. My kids were very hesitant to start, as they do not naturally 'like' the subject matter but I can see in just over 1 month this has become less of a chore they need to do, but an experience they enjoy. After starting Mathnasium, they also talk about things they are doing in math class now, what they are 'getting' and what they aren't; I could never elicit any feedback before except "I hate it and don't want to talk about it'. I appreciate the regular feedback also via email. Time flexibility has also been great.

I imagine that most parents enroll their children in Mathnasium to improve their child's overall math skills, which it does. However, what I have found even more valuable is the astounding improvement in my son's attitude towards math and his greatly reduced his anxiety. So many students are struggling with various stressors in our society. If Mathnasium is a place where high school students can go to learn and reinforce math concepts and skills in a relaxed non-threatening environment, then that experience alone makes it priceless. - Marcie Crow

My daughter now gets A's and B's on all of her Algebra II tests. She would not be able to do this without the help of the Mathnasium tutors.
