My daughter is thriving in math since enrolling in Mathnasium of McCandless late in the summer. She is more confident in the classroom and building the foundation of algebra skills that she never had the hang of until her now junior year of high school. The teachers at Mathnasium are skilled communicators and know the methodology needed to teach and reteach material. Plus she is able to complete her homework in a quiet supportive environment with staff who are ready to assist but not do the work for her. My advice....don't wait to enroll your child today if you are on the fence. It's worth the it!

Spencer absolutely loves Mathnesiam.
When we discussed him attending it wasn't with the greatest enthusiasm, after first 2 sessions he was actually excited to attend and has developed a love for Math. The staff here in Cranberry is great and the confidence and success he has had has empowered him.
The program and dedication of the staff really shines through. He has commented that he wishes his school math classes had the staff from this office and was structured the same way.
A subject he used to dread is now one he had developed a passion for based on the success he has experienced with Mathnesiam.

Covid and the public school's handling of at home learning really affected our child's progress through elementary math. Summer and team at the Squirrel Hill location have done a fantastic job with them. They are eager to go each time and feel rewarded for the work they are putting in at each visit.
My kids love Mathnasium! They have a great time and we're really happy with the staff there. They are really patient, and my kids really respond well to their motivation and suggestions.

Yes, they care about the academic progress of the students; but more importantly, they just care about the students in general. Dylan is another person in my son's life who is actually invested in him as a person, and it makes a difference!

From the very beginning, Sommer made us feel welcome at Mathnasium. She relieved administrative burdens by showing us how to navigate the appointment booking system, the assessments, and the monthly progress reports. Mathnasium reinvigorated my daughter’s view that math can be fun and inspired my son to continue pursuing his love of math.
Dylan is wonderful. He is professional, kind, and patient, and he makes math accessible to all - even though the cost of Mathnasium doesn’t. He understands ADHD and executive functions, and this has been a blessing for my son and a huge relief for me. It’s just a shame that Mathnasium is so expensive.
We have been very happy with our experience at Mathnasium. Dylan is awesome and has been extremely friendly and accommodating. We decided to start taking our son for enrichment purposes and are now bringing our oldest daughter as well to keep up with the "summer slide." We are looking forward to making them both more confident in their math skills and in a position to excel.

Mathnasium McCandless provided my daughters the confidence to tackle difficult math classes. They have raised their scores and became eligible for higher level math courses. As a parent, I appreciated the flexibility in scheduling tutoring sessions. The online system makes it a breeze.

Mathnasium program is very well designed catering to individual learner’s needs. The pace is very thoughtful which takes away anxiety which is usually associated with math. We are glad we chose Mathnasium at Mccandless for higher Math needs for our son. As a parent it is immense satisfaction when you see your child prepared and confident in their learning journey. Kudos to Dylan and his team for their passion in Math and dedication for constantly making every effort to make Learning of Math a joy!
We just started getting our daughter back into Mathnasium after it went online during Covid so it's been a couple years. We are new to this center and really enjoy it so far.
This program has been a lifesaver for my daughter’s pandemic-induced math learning gap. She loves the program and even looks forward to her Mathnasium nights.
Mathnasium is a game-changer. It strengthens skills, improves confidence, and builds relationships with those in the center. For as long as my high school age son has attended, he has enjoyed working with the staff. If there was a grade higher than an A+, that's what Mathnasium would get from our family.

We really enjoyed Dylan and staff and would have liked to continue but life kind of got in the way. Will be definitely signing back up for the summer months!
