My daughter has some gaps in her elementary math knowledge due to the erratic schooling during the pandemic. The Mathnasium curriculum reteaches those concepts and creates a strong foundation. We are about 1/2 way through the program. At our last parent teacher conference her math teacher commented on her growth in self confidence and knowledge. Thank you Mathnasium!

I love Mathnasium for my kids. It's an incredible resource when your child is struggling with the gaps in their math knowledge. I also love that they go at the child's pace which takes the pressure off of them and they can focus on math learning and not what they don't know.

I love the flexibility with scheduling and that I can reschedule last minute because…life happens. My son is excited to come every week and seems to be getting excited about math. I’m noticing a huge change in his attitude. I’m waiting to see how his next test scores come back before I give a 10 but so far we are very pleased!
They are great! I only wish that there was a little more communication about what she is learning and working on.

My son got behind in math when he did online schooling during 2020. The holes in his learning really became apparent after he entered middle school. After tears and frustration from him we decided we needed help to get him caught up. Mathnasium has been such a blessing for us. The greatest result has been seeing his confidence grow. He’s also getting much better scores in math class. He looks forward to his Mathnasium sessions. The tutors and director are so friendly and make him feel comfortable and learning fun. We are so happy with our experience using Mathnasium and highly recommend it!

Not only has the mathnasium program done miracles for my daughter (she finally does not hate math and she has stopped calling herself "dumb" when it comes to math...and she is FINALLY learning long division which I thought would never happen!!!!) When our amazing success with Mathnasium began, I was scared for school to vere her "off program" because I did not want to undo the mathnasium progress, of have Natalie go back to hating math. (She had actually gotten to a point in 4th grade where she would pick at her hair during math and gave herself a small bald spot because she was so stressed.)
But the amazing directors (first Tammy, and then Takota) helped with my specific concerns. And I've noticed that even in school, Natalie's overall stress level toward math has lowered, because we know we can count on Mathnasium to help us. I really really appreciate that when i explained to Takota that due to some specific learning issues with understanding instructions, that I really need Natalie to be able to begin her math homework at Mathnasium (even though your typical instructions are to have the student start at home and bring questions to mathnasium) because when I as mom try to explain instructions Natalie yells at me that I don't "get it" and does it all wrong. But she is calm and trusting around her mathnasium tutors, so I asked can I please please have you guys help her START it during that half hour that you guys allow for homework help.
So I really really appreciate the flexibility Takota showed in working with me on that, and he also took the time to work with Natalie one on one about another concern (Natalie felt like she needed more practice in division due to struggles in her school class), and when Tammy was here she was willing to work with me on some concerns about Natalie's math in a day program that I felt was throwing her off.
So I cannot recommend mathnasium highly enough. We had tried Kumon because they were slightly (only slightly) less expensive and it was a total waste of money because Peter was so absolutely rigid about the Kumon program and kept telling me he wanted Natalie to do it THEIR way, versus working with me in the ways that I knew Natalie really needed due to her learning disabilities. Soon Natalie hated Kumon and frankly I did too, because they were ALSO giving us work to do at home, which caused a lot of stress in our mom-daughter relationship and cost me time that I do not have as a single mother because I was also supposed to check her work and turn it back in!
Now I tell everyone about mathnasium, teachers, mom friends, and will continue to do so.
Any time math is discussed we mention how miraculous Mathnasium has been for our kids and for many of our friends. I am amazed at the change in attitude particularly. What was once the feared and despised subject for many, is now the favorite. Grades have gone up, test scores increased, and teachers comment on the radical change in attitude. As I said, Mathnasium is miraculous. I know it sounds like hyperbole, but there is really no other way to describe the results.
Mathnasium has saved my husband’s relationship with our kids. There are no more tears at homework time!
