My daughter is currently in 7th grade and she started at Mathnasium in mid-5th. The center has been so incredibly accommodating over the years. As she has gotten older her needs have changed a bit, as one would expect, and the center has been flexible. When she has needed help with her homework and to have a new concept in school explained, they have done it. Every single time she has come out of her sessions she has felt happier and successful. I cannot stress enough how important this has been for our family.
Mathnasium is also interested in aligning what is being studied in school to the work they are doing with her in their time together. This is key. I have recommended Mathnasium to so many people and I will continue to do so.
The one on one approach has benefited my child a lot. Regular updates on my child’s progress are appreciated. Flexibility of scheduling due to illness or vacation is also a plus, as is help with homework.

My daughter goes to Mathnasium twice a week and she has come so far in her math skills. It has been a big help for her.
My son really enjoys the classes and he also has some favorite teachers too. He has mastered many sessions and I am very proud of him.
My daughter says that she really feels the difference in her math skills after starting at Mathnasium. I think the 1:1 instruction is really important for her because she does not feel comfortable asking for help in a large classroom. She gets to go faster if she doesn't understand a topic and can slow down if she knows how to do something well. The personal attention is great! It's also super easy to change her appointments online!

I love that Mathnasium finds the gaps, even if from previous years. Filling in those gaps and catching the kids up is critical to how children learn math...it's impossible to grow if you don't have the foundation. Attending 2-3 times a week also helps with the practice. I know my daughter has improved in her confidence because of Mathnasium!
Also the staff is amazing - Fernan and Alex are so knowledgable, personable, flexible, and keep disipline and order. I really enjoy having them as my contact points!
I always recommend Mathnasium to friends. I love that the students work with a tutor/teacher in a very small group setting and are able to receive individualized help throughout the sessions. I am grateful for the flexibility to meet students where they are and help them better understand their classwork when needed. We are so grateful for Mathnasium and how it has helped our daughter these last 18 months. I see us continuing for a very long time.
The real-time session summaries have been extremely helpful for tracking my child’s learning progress. The staff is always responsive and proactive in adding or adjusting topics, coordinating assessments, and generating detailed progress reports. We truly appreciate the support and communication!

This is perfect for a kid who needs challenge and wants to move ahead. For a kid that is struggling it could work, but the curriculum is less flexible which could be frustrating.

Staff/front desk are always super friendly. The varies instructor also makes it fun, you get to know more instructors! My kids get to learn Math in a fun way, and they could not wait spend time at Mathnasium. Thank you to make learning fun and engaging.
My daughter has been going to Mathnasium since the middle of 5th grade. She is now at the end of 7th grade. I love that they have a very small ratio of tutors to students and that they are flexible--meeting the student where they are and with what they need to accomplish. There are times my daughter needs no support with her homework or help studying for an exam, so she does the Mathnasium curriculum. There are other times she needs a little more practice on what she is doing at school and they are more than willing to support her in that. I have recommended Mathnasium every chance I have had.
