Even though our son is here to learn math, being here helped our son become willing to do homework. In 1st and 2nd grade, our son refused to do homework at school so he only turned in 40% of his home for both years.
Now, our son does homework with no resistance and finishes them within minutes and getting an average grade of 90% on each homework.
Our son is in 3rd grade; however, Grazide Elementary evaluated him as being in 8th grade to college with respect to math.
Our son's ELA is at 7th grade and we're sure it would be higher if Mathnasium taught ELA.

Mathnasium of Westlake Village is a wonderful, supportive environment that has helped our daughter gain tremendous success in math as she transitioned from middle school to high school. My daughter was struggling, with at least a grade level below where she was supposed to be. Now, after nine months with Mathnasium in La Crescenta, she is currently receiving B's and mostly A's in mathematics, and was offered to be a part of Math Honors courses at her next Glendale Unified School! Yes, this specific location deserves a 10, and I'm very grateful to this Mathnasium for listening not only to my requests of what to target, but for them additionally being so diligent to accurately assess and attack the mathematical areas she needed improvement.

Best decision I made to improve my child’s math skills. I enrolled my son at the Tustin Mathnasium when my son was not grasping a math concept in Enhanced Math 1, and I wasn't able to help him anymore. It was time to pass the torch to the experts. Ms. Marlene and her amazing staff helped my son understand the curriculum and master the content in an efficient way. Besides working with a curriculum, the Mathnasium teachers have always been available to help my son when he has a homework question that he can not solve on his own. Mathnasium offers tremendous flexibility. They have a patient team of math experts. They are incredibly responsive even to after hours and late requests for support. Mathnasium is the only reason my son survived 10th grade math!

The Mathnasium in Simi has been fantastic for my children, who are both homeschooled. I use it to supplement their curriculum and I have been astounded by the progress both have made. The support the offer in small groups is second to none, and as a parent it has been wonderful to see them both develop in their academic achievements and their confidence in the subject.

We have had a great experience at Mathnasium. My daughter is showing growth and mastery in math concepts that she needed to develop. The one on one instruction and assistance is just what she needed and the style of instruction differs from her school lessons, which addresses her learning style. The center director and staff members have been supportive and responsive, great partners in our daughter’s math development.
