Before my daughter started tutoring she hated math, after a couple of months she said that she started to like math. I see her more confident with it now. She still struggles with it, but she is doing way better. Grades went up.
Very flexible, accommodating and tutors are great with the kids and know them by name.

We have been taking our now 7 year old to Mathnasium for over 1.5 years now and he really enjoys all aspects of Math. He tells us he likes it because its fun and hard sometimes. Eric and his staff are great, everyone is friendly, patient and supportive.

My daughter, Nadia Dixon, loves Mathnasium. Her math grades at school are much better since starting at Mathnasium. Nadia is thriving and truly enjoys the teaching and cohort style of instruction at Mathnasium.
We can see the improvement in our child’s learning process for math. She is actually excited to go for tutoring and continues to gain confidence in her math abilities. You know something is working when her math teacher notices the improvement.
My daughter started at Mathnasium 4 yrs ago, and the change has been remarkable. Before, math homework meant stress and tears, but now she sits down and gets started without being asked. The instructors take time to figure out where the gaps are and build from there instead of just drilling worksheets, and they explain concepts in different ways until one clicks. All the staff are patient and encouraging. We've also seen grade improvement, better test scores and more willingness to participate in class. The staff keeps us updated on progress, and the center feels welcoming and organized. I'd recommend Mathnasium to any parent whose child is struggling or wants to get ahead.

I am extremely impressed with this learning center and the wonderful work they do. They truly care about the children’s education and their overall well-being.
They keep each child’s records up to date, and after every class, parents receive a detailed summary of what their child learned. I really appreciate this because it allows parents to stay informed and be actively involved in their child’s progress.
The instructors are also very professional, patient, and understanding. Even with children who may learn at a slower pace, they take the time to work with them patiently and make sure they understand the material. Their dedication is truly admirable.
I am equally impressed by their commitment to safety. They take the security of the children very seriously and are extremely careful about who is allowed to leave with each child. They personally make sure every child is handed over directly to their parent, even if the parent is waiting a little farther away from the facility. That level of care gives parents tremendous peace of mind.
In short, this is a place where you can genuinely see that they care about children learning, growing, and feeling supported. As a parent, it is incredibly reassuring to know that while your child is there, they are not only learning, but also being carefully looked after and kept safe. I am very grateful for the excellent work they do!
We just enrolled about a month ago. I like their flexibility in scheduling for classes. Also class time is 1 hour which is covering a lot of topics during that time.
Our daughter is doing math several grades ahead of her class thanks to our 2 years of mathnasium. The staff is kind and encouraging, they have a program where she is getting lots of math practice in a fun way, and she enjoys going there. The results are wonderful and we highly recommend mathnasium, one of best decisions we made.
The tutors at Mathnasium have a great way of helping my 11 year old remember her math concepts. She looks forward to doing her homework here. I’m so grateful I found Mathnasium.
Mathnasium Eagle Rock has the most caring tutors and Eric will work with families to meet their goals 1/1. We are grateful to have signed up with them when we did. we love Mathnasium Sherman Oaks so much. both my sons go there now - my oldest, 10, has been going since he was 6 years old and it's his favorite place to be. the place he can really shine as the brilliant math wizard he is. Daniel, Colton and the whole staff are incredible; great teachers and advocates for our children's higher learning. I'm thrilled that my younger son is now enrolled and loving it, as well.
My daughter really enjoys learning at Mathnasium. The teachers are very kind and explain things clearly and patiently at her own pace. She always enjoys going to her lessons, and she is gradually becoming more confident in math. It’s a great learning environment!

We are a 7th year homeschooling family. Last year we walked through the unimaginable when my husband was diagnosed with cancer. We kept as much of our former life in tact as possible for the sake of our kids, but my 5th grader's Math suffered.
We wanted her to feel confident coming into 6th grade--particularly because she will be entering higher Math soon.
Mathnasium is helping her fill in gaps that she may have missed last year, and giving her the confidence to succeed.

I’m glad I looked into Mathnasium for my daughter, she was having issues in math and the teachers couldn’t give her the time she needed. We got her into Mathnasium and she is starting to understand math and not struggle. If you have the opportunity to get your child into the tutoring program you will not regret it!
