The team at the Schaumburg School of Rock are fantastic people who offer a wonderful music experience, while also adjusting and customizing the programs to best suit the groups attending. Be it group practices or the one on one lessons for the students. Brandy and Alexandria continue working with the ever changing schedules and always have the students best interest at heart. My son has been attending SoR for a few years, starting out in the Rock 101 program and advancing to the performance group, while finding his musical interest that allows him find new challenges with the help of the awesome teachers at the school. He has attended the summer programs and played each different music genre from rock, funk to emo. We look forward to attending future music programs offered in the future.
My son has been a student at SOR Geneva for five years and absolutely loves it! The combination lesson / performance program is what brought us to SOR and is what keeps us! The instructors are top quality and the staff is great!!! I highly recommend School of Rock Geneva to anyone who is looking for a music school. Whether you’re a beginner, advance or somewhere in between, SOR Geneva has a place for you to fit in, advance and grow as an artist.
Besides the great personal lessons and band seasons, I’m most impressed (and thankful) at how all of the students are supportive of each other. It’s not uncommon to see more advanced students helping out newer kids. From simply cheering them on to helping with techniques and taking a genuine personal interest. It seems great care was taken with how the school has been structured to produce these results.

Instructors and staff
The instructors at School of Rock Schaumburg are fantastic. They do such a great job of sharing their passion for music and performance. Anthony, Dave, Dani, Sam and Joe have been wonderful to work with. I am exceptionally thankful for their patience and capable teaching skills.
Additionally, the administration and staff are all exceptionally enthusiastic and welcoming. We look forward to continuing with the School of Rock Schaumburg family.

Areas for improvement;
1. Invest some money in providing better studio equipment. So disappointed when practice and studio equipment falls short of functioning properly ( Example: Can't hear the singers when I am drumming. Is that rear monitor working?).
2. Litter on the floors. Can the school management please encourage all students to clean up after themselves? It is so disappointing to find used water bottles, papers, wrappers, etc. on the floors in the kitchen area and in the group studio.
3. OSHA - Occupational and Safety Hazards Association - So constantly afraid I am going to step on a piece of equipment that is haphazardly laid or left on the floor and trip and fall. Example: Recently had a private lesson in one of the drum rooms and came upon a microphone stand laying on the floor by the practice drum set. It's difficult enough to squeeze into the seat. Why the microphone stand way placed there lying horizontally, who know?
Absolutely love how they teach the kids, not only instruments but stage presence and how to work with other musicians.

Provides children the opportunity to play with other children. This seems a very important part of learning to play an instrument.
My daughter Abigail Reiter has enjoyed and loved every moment of your programs. She is always strumming on her guitar and bass everyday. She has found the love of music from your teachers and staff.
