I believe it is a great program to be able to spend sometime in the weekend with a group of musicians and been able to put in practice what I learned in the lesson the previous day. The school's coordination is another plus. Being able to coordinate which songs we are going to play all the way to a meticulous exchange of notes through the website gives at he student a concise guidance towards achieving his goals.
There is an acceptance, a feeling of family, within the program that fosters risk taking, participation and a desire to improve and contribute. Thank you!
Omar is excellent. He is patient, kind and encouraging. Also, the ease of scheduling a make up class is extremely helpful. Everyone there are really wonderful.
It is fun that the kids learn icon rock classics instead of “camptown races”. Seeing my boy play lead guitar at Havana was most impressive!

School of Rock was able to work with my schedule so that my son Dean can take drum lessons, his instructor Adam Howell is doing a great job teaching Dean the fundamentals of drumming.

I’ve been taking guitar lessons for close to 3 years. Chris is an amazing teacher and we’ve gone over a wide variety of songs including complex ones from Joe Satriani, Dream Theater, Metallica, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, etc. He not only teaches the notes and the chords but also breaks down the theory and explains how the different pieces of a song fit together. They have recently re-started adult band sessions which is a lot of fun and Lexi does a great job coordinating it. Friendly staff overall. They have an awesome new facility in Lawrenceville.

Continue to think this is great music education. From one on one instruction to the weekly band rehearsals covering a mix of styles and experiences. Wish I hadn't spent my youth playing rondos and sonatas.

The programs at School of Rock Have been perfect for my son’s way of learning. Although he is very much about music theory, The programs have been very flexible and catered to exactly how his brain works when it comes to learning new techniques and application. Often he learns best by just sitting and playing with his instructor but he also wants to improve technique and his understanding of musicality when it comes to the instruments he is playing. The instructors have always been very flexible and quick to adjust and how he is learning that particular day. For an intelligent kid with learning issues, the school has been life-changing. The performance programs have given my son away to step outside of himself which is always been very difficult for him. He considers the school more like a family than an institution, and it has been a great place for him to learn and grow. Currently he plays three instruments and is getting ready to add another in addition to finally starting to sing. He also produces his own music. He enjoys sharing his original music that he makes with his instructors And everyone has always been very supportive. I really appreciate School of Rock, and I am confident that my son will continue to learn and grow as a musician.
