School of Rock Princeton simply is a home away from home for both my kids, ages 14 and 10. The staff at SOR hold all the values we as a family hold dear: inclusivity, inspiration, development, growth mindset, joy, commitment, collaboration. SOR is a safe space for my kids to tap into their creative gifts and therefore is an absolute gift to us as parents.
The music instructors and front desk people are super engaging, encouraging and 10,000% cooler than the kindly older piano teacher I had coming to the house. My daughter can’t wait for her guitar and vocal lessons. Plus the feedback by email is fantastic.
I learned about School of Rock from another Mom who said it was one of her 6th graders favorite activities. Since beginning this summer, I have also recommended it to another mom whose high school daughter just started guitar a few week ago. Word of mouth is best way to discover great program.

My son is taking electric guitar and he really enjoys the teachers! Scheduling has been facilitated by your great scheduler, Ali, and communication is easy. The teachers are great and work with every student according to their ability. The students feel very welcome and the place is very inclusive. School of Rock is awesome!
The office manager is extremely nice and very accomodating with scheduling/rescheduling lessons and camps. I would highly recommend School of Rock to anyone that wants to learn to play an instrument, sing, and loves music!
Variety. Flexibility and focus to integrate young performers with very different levels of musicianship. This does wonders for the lower level performer in terms of self-esteem and engenders humility and patience on the part of higher level performers. It is a safe place to express oneself for some who may not be able to do that elsewhere. The instructors are also talented and patient.
Rock 101 keeps my son excited about learning.
The absolute best part of school of rock is how connected the teachers and directors are to their students. Being a relatively new student at School of Rock, it is beyond anything I expected. To have instructors that genuinely care about me relieves so much stress and really allows me to focus on the content I’m working on. I leave every rehearsal or lesson feeling excited to learn new material and to apply what I’ve learned.
I love that children can learn about music that they would actually listen to.
