Great teachers! Applying what they learned to performance is a fantastic concept and worth every dollar.
This is an excellent program. The only thing I would recommend is spacing out the lessons so they don't run into each other. Add 10 minutes between them so the instructor has time to speak to the parents without taking the time away from the next person's lesson.
I love the Performance Program at our School of Rock because it gives the kids the chance to perform often and to the parents to witness the progress the kids make. They learn not only to perform on stage, they also learn to respect and appreciate other kid’s effort and to encourage each other.
The teachers are all fantastic and are great with the kids. They do an amazing job of building confidence and instilling the basics…. All while making it fun!
Personalized lessons and performing with a group of my peers that are on the same level I am. I come away from each season feeling like I've added members to my family.
The confidence it gives the kids. The joy comes across on stage and when they leave practice and get into the car all excited. It’s so positive and grounded in teamwork and working hard.
You are not rigid schedulers and can adapt to your client's constraints. I think you do a good job of understanding goals and aspirations and keeping kids excited about the instruments and music too. I think playing in a band as a requirement is the only thing I don't love.
The programs and instructors have been wonderful. My daughter has learned so much and feels like the teachers really care. Great environment for kids/teens.

School of Rock has been part of my children’s lives for many years. At first, we enjoyed the summer camp experiences and now the performance programs. SoR has enabled my children to appreciate a difference aspect of music that they do not get at school. Not only are they learning about different genres, instruments, gaining confidence but they feel safe in that environment. SoR has given my children the opportunity to be part of the SoR community. A group of individuals that may not have crossed paths within our town, at school or sports. They have bonded over music and the excitement of entertainment. Music enhances everyone’s lives and I think more people should take advantage of the great experience the School of Rock provides. We look forward to spending many more years at SoR. Thank you for all you have done for my children.

They are a great way to learn multiple practical musical skills for rock/pop fans - training wheels on being in a real band. Playing in real venues before decent sized crowds is great.
What I like about SoR's programs is just about everything. From the complexity of the material to the variety of content. However, what I most like about our SoR - Redbank, New Jersey is how the team of managers and teachers have just grabbed hold of an incredible opportunity and cultivated a school that was in disarray to a ray of light. Algren Rodgers & Benjamin Daniels to the teachers like Brian Nohl to Alex and Pete - it has been just a breath of fresh air to always pick up our son, Anthony Paul. There are times when I just do not want to leave because it is always a vibrant place - where everyone is just so positive, and the school is so inviting. Thank you SoR, thank you Algren & Benji for allowing us to enjoy some of the best years of our son's life.
