Great personnel, From the front desks people to the instructors..
Love their teaching methods.. Get the young musicians right into a band and perform live..
Me and the wife enjoy more than the kids i think.. lol..
Great instructors, friendly environment, motivated. All around a great place!
The performance based approach creates opportunity and motivation to learn that can’t be matched. Further, the people at SOR West Cobb are all super friendly and helpful, which creates a fun and supportive vibe.
My daughter loves her individual lessons, which are making her feel more comfortable playing, and she is really enjoying being able to play a variety of music.
I love everything about this place!
Learning happens at our own pace and the instructors are very understanding of this.
I love the supportive atmosphere and the fact that we're all learning together in an uplifting and wonderful way. Also that we are always working towards performance, its very exciting.
Love the program.
It is amazing! My son has so much fun! What other place can you get private lessons and join a cool band!
Learning how to play different types of songs then playing a show at the end of the season over all a lot of fun

Al staff very kind and professional
The instructors are amazing. The school is incredibly welcoming and I could not be happier to have found this awesome school. Special shoutouts to Joe, Scott, Etti, Paul, Rae, Isaac, and Izzy
I've already referred two new adult students. Sam has done a tremendous job getting a handle on what was previously a poorly run and chaotic environment. She shows tremendous empathy and is very easy to work with. Having Andrew working fulltime at the front was also a great move. He is incredibly knowledgeable and well respected, presenting a great face for the School of Rock brand.
This past adult season under Sam's leadership has been my best season so far at School of Rock.
Some suggestions:
1) The school is badly in need of rennovations. Some of the practice rooms are a bit shoddy and not a good representation for SoR.
2) You need more instructors, especially non-guitar. It's hard to find open lesson times and make-up lessons are near impossible because everyone is overloaded.
3) You should solicit input from the adults for the season themes. We're pickier than the kids and the choice of The Beatles for next season has already caused multiple adult students to drop. Listen to your customers.
4) Still need more comfortable chairs in the front room! Adult band was full and sitting on hard metal chairs for two hours in not pleasant.
My teacher, Brandon, is awesome and I feel like he really cares about if I'm learning and enjoying myself. The Grad School program is really well run and the themes are great; I always feel like I'm choosing between a few options I'd love.
Greatest program overall!
I enjoy the rehearsals to keep you accountable. I also like that each instructor has a different style of teaching and I’ve learned a unique skill from each one I worked with.
Tess has found the program to be one where she can challenge her creativity while refining & learning new skills. She’s clearly been surrounded by positive & encouraging mentors.
Fun playing with others in band settings
Very wonderful school and the GM is super cool
The teachers are wonderful and kind. Not only do they teach the kids beyond your imagination, they make sure that the kids feel supported
The owners of the HR location really care about the kids and the security of the building is great! The teachers are talented and make learning music fun for the kids.
Muito legal e traz as crianças para o mundo rock de forma lúdica e efetiva.
Great school and teachers. Only complaint is the lack of piano parts in the metal and alternative songs. The SOR app is cumbersome to use as a pianist. Would love to have actual printable scores to work off of.

The staff is amazing - attentive, flexible, enthusiastic. The program is appropriate for kids of all ages, talent and experience levels. Students and staff are inclusive and welcoming. It’s so much fun to watch your kid on stage rocking their heart out!
I love how warm and inviting the instructors are. They feel like family and encourage my child every time they see him. I’m so thankful for every one of them!

Great teachers! Very inspiring. Awesome selection of bands for the youth.
My daughter has been a School of Rock kid for 6 years. I watched the older kids mentor her, support her and cheer for her from the day she joined. Six years later and a senior now, she has become one of the mentors, the support system and the cheerleaders. She's grown so much within those walls. They helped her reach for the stars and she worked with them to attain every goal she's set for herself. She is a 5 year veteran of House Band and as of last year, an All-Star. This year will be so bittersweet but I know that she will forever look back at the friends and family she's made, and all the accomplishments she's worked so hard for, and see these years as some of the best of her life. Thank you, Joey, and all her instructors and coaches. Just in case you don't hear it enough, you make a difference.
Personable instructor
45 minutes is a good length for lessons at a convenient time
