I love that there are live performances and a wide range of music styles, but I would recommend more communication from the instructors/teachers student's parents to give them an idea of their child's progress. Even occasional notes updates would be nice. Additionally, having groups that are a a little more suited for those on the young side to be paired with peers closer in age would be awesome. The younger ones can get intimidated by their more mature bandmates. TIA~!

School of Rock Dallas on Mockingbird Lane is comprised of an amazing team of people. Patient, know their stuff, good role models. It's a joy to see my daughter falling in love with new-to-her music and finding confidence through performing.
This place is a great idea, but it'd be nothing without these wonderful humans running this particular school.
The teachers are great and the classes are fun! My child loves it and is learning a lot. It's a laid-back environment but still quality education.

Grant is a great teacher. I never feel pressure and he makes sure that I feel engaged and interested by asking me what I would like to learn. He also asks if there are any songs in paticular that I'd like to learn as well! I look forward to every lesson.
Russ also made me feel welcome the first day and is very fun to talk to. The staff is always very kind and welcoming. Its also enjoyable to see the children learning music and they always seem excited to be at School Of Rock

All of the instructors are great and my daughter is learning so much about singing in her vocal lessons! She’s also blossomed with a lot of confidence getting up on stage in front of so many people and singing. Definitely recommending SOR to anyone I talk to you about putting their kid(s) into some kind of musical program

The teachers and staff are professional, but laid back, they allow the children to explore instruments outside of their primary instrument. We are huge fans of School of Rock!

Caring, knowledge teachers that really care about the kids and really put their all into making a great performance at each show. They have help my child build his confidence along with making many friends with the same interests as him.
I love the band! My child struggles socially and the kids at School of Rock are not only talented, but kind too! He looks forward to band every week!

I like the group practices and encouragement. They want them to commit and practice but there is not intense pressure. Also performance can be stressful and regularly performing makes it easier to get used to doing.
I don’t like the pickup policy and it bums me out that my child who is independent and bikes everywhere on her own can’t come and go from practice like other activities she does. I’d be happy to sign a waiver to allow it but she is not 13.
