This is my favorite CorePower studio. I’ve been to at least six different studios, and this one has a great amount of space in the classroom and the best heat!! Manhattan Beach is very good heat, but the room is kind of small.

The Instructor was very pleasant and attentive. There are a good number of showers (5) and a spacious locker room

Jacqueline is an amazing instructor. I am a beginner at yoga and she makes me feel comfortable with my newness and she helps with instructions on how to modify my poses.

This is a really nice studio it’s calm and peaceful the teachers are so sweet and kind and also I notice the instructors here have a lot of teaching experience and knowledge they share different styles and make the class of fun learning experience in terms of philosophy physiology it’s really a mentally and emotionally healing experience.

The instructors at Torrance are always the best— they lead the classes in a well organized, and informative manner, they annunciate clearly, their music isnt too loud, and they instruct at a pace that we’re all able to keep up with, as students.

The facilities is another important reason I continue to attend Torrance and would recommend to others… the studio is clean, the locker rooms are clean, and the showers are fantastic— STRONG, HOT, water power!! Every other location in the southbay has terrible showers… water just dribbles out :(

I absolutely loved my Core Power Yoga experience! I did the one week free trial. I then did the introductory month. I took classes in Torrance, Hermosa, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Goleta and Pentagon City. I went every day consecutively from Dec 28-Jan 30. I could see my body transformation and fell my strength building. The instructors were all very knowledgeable, motivational, and kind. It was my self care gift as I headed to turning 50 years old! Thank you for an amazing experience to help me get back into shape!

Unfortunately I cancelled my membership. The closest studios were 25 minutes from my house and it was just out of reach for me to consistently keep going once the membership increased.

The instructors

There are a wide range of dynamic classes available with a great array of teachers. Yenly, Sarah, Jessie and Sophia are my favorite teachers with standout sequencing and helpful hands on assistance/guidance to further my practice. One opportunity with classes could be to offer more options for C1 or even better a prenatal class if possible (with a teacher who is confident to offer alternate postures etc)
The studio itself is great as it’s close in location to me and there is always parking available. It’s always well kept and the front staff are welcoming.

I like that your body is warm and can do the poses easier. When I sweat, I feel like I’m getting rid of some toxins from my body. I also like the instructors. Although I have limitations on the poses that they do, i can modify them to fit me.

I really like taking Sofia and George's classes. I find their instruction really helpful I love coming back for their classes
