Great experience after a long hiatus from yoga. Fun, energetic teachers, love the heat and humidity. Would like to see more class offerings on the weekends. Glad there is free parking available in the garage, otherwise that would be a deterrent. Overall great experience so far from the U District studio.

Teachers are usually pretty friendly and start classes on time. Some classes like the 5:30 pm can get really packed 30+ people. Parking at this location is really awful. Recently, some teachers have been having the C2 classes at 100 degrees and just about 100% humidity it’s unbearable and people are dropping like flies during class. Many students in the locker room were complaining about the temperature. Teacher asked two students during class if they were okay which is an obvious sign that it’s not okay.

I LOVE the classes at the Capitol Hill studio. Consistently good. The instructors are terrific. I do have some constructive feedback though - the last few times I've been to the studio, it has not been as clean - dust around, extension cords, etc.
My other piece of feedback is for ALL classes at CPY - can we please leave the lights dimmed through the whole class? Why do we even need overhead lights on bright sunny days? Dim light is so much better for setting the vibe.

The reliability of a studio - you don’t usually go to one and have one great class and one bad class. It seems to have a cohesiveness to the quality or level of energy among staff and experience they provide.
Really digging the Strength X classes, love that it focuses on heavier weights

It has a perfect blend of entry level and advanced courses. There is a variety of class hours to make anyone’s schedule work. The instructors are passionate and do a good job. The locker room is also very clean and comfortable. I always feel better/stronger after a yoga class (mentally and physically) at Core Power.
