The instructors are what make this studio great! I can say without a doubt that the staff are some of the friendliest people I know. They are welcoming, inspiring and they make the studio a safe place to practice regardless of your skill level.

I love the intentions at the beginning of practice. I love the time to focus only on our breathing and ourselves and our health, mentally and physically. I love the gentle adjustments to be sure that we are getting the most out of the pose or movements. I love the peacefulness that it brings to me.

I usually attend 5 yoga classes a week. I exclusively attend classes in Poway and Del Mar. Both locations have talented, motivating, inspirational, approachable, dynamic and kind spirited instructors. The classes have been instrumental in allowing me to deal with a couple of emotionally difficult years. Physically, I know that I am stronger, more flexible and limber than I would be without it. I am particularly interested in positions that result in helping to detoxify our organs. I strongly believe that detoxification will result in significant long term health.

I like the quality of instructors. I also enjoy the retail store.

Core Power Poway specifically has the best, friendliest, and most helpful instructors!! They truly value community and make everyone feel welcome. I have been a member for 3 years and gone to multiple studios around San Diego, and Poway is by far one of the nicest facilities and has the most approachable instructors. They also always have an updated sale rack that constantly has new stuff and great deals!

a few of the things I like about CorePower in contrast to other studios: I enjoy being checked in by the teacher. It gives a more personal touch to the class and you can ask any questions you want right up front without having a receptionist run around trying to find the teacher to answer your question. It's also very consistent with the heat, I've had other studios change drastically day to day depending on the mood of the teacher. So one day is like HPF and one day is like a C1. But having the standardized temperatures at CorePower is a huge advantage and I can know what I'm getting into before I go in. I also like that there is a little shop in front to buy Malas, and clothing. I would like it if the shop were even more extended to shop longer before classes! I also like how the classes are locked so no one can come in late. That's always annoying for someone to be starting to set up there mat in the middle of sun B. Overall I think its a great business and I wouldnt have gone through the Teacher Training here if I didnt. My only complaint is that there are WAY too many sculpt classes and I'd like to see more regular C2 and C1.5 on the schedule at much more convenient times. I always feel sculpt and HPF get more desirable times and I dont do either of those classes for different reasons, but if maybe the sculpt classes were switched with the C2 or something, it'd be so much better schedule. I actually don't know anyone who does/likes sculpt classes, and I know others share my opinion about the scheduling. I'd love to see a C2 at like 6 AM for the real dedicated yogi who likes to go before work.
