As a beginner practicing yoga, it is comforting to have classes rated by numbers. The instructors are all extremely encouraging and keep the mindset of growing at your own pace and avoiding comparison. Each day you practice is a milestone is what I have learned! I really enjoyed Brit as an instructor- her classes were a favorite of mine and I was really sad to move away from that area because she is the best!

Love the instructors and C2 classes! Also, the studio is clean, class schedules are accommodating (lots of class options at all times of day), and everyone is friendly!!

I appreciate the instructors knowledge and variety of classes. I like that the studio is smaller which makes for a more personal experience.

I love the quality of the instructors at Hillcrest! I would like to suggest two things to improve the studio:

1. More blocks! Anytime an instructor would like to use two blocks per student, there are never enough for everyone in class.
2. Is there any way to tint the windows in the studio? The sun comes in through the windows so brightly in the morning and makes that side of the room incredibly hot/sunny. As someone that has to be very careful in direct sun, this could be potentially dangerous for some people as well.

Everyone there is really nice. They make sure that you have everything you need. And it's clean.

The capabilities of your instructors. Their clarity, their work in bringing out the nuances in the postures and in reminding us yoganinis of what parts of our bodies should be doing, aligning, contracting. All of their coaching makes an measurable difference in our learning and growth in our individual practices.
In addition, their focus on intention at the start of each session and their reminders to you during the sessions on keeping your intentions and your breath in mind.
Core Power instructors make this program the exceptional one that it is.

I took the CPY 1 class with Amy and it was fantastic. I'm not a hardcore yogi but when I do go to a class I am really picky. This means that everyone has to be super nice and welcoming with zero percent intimidation. (This is not as common as you may think.) I left Amy's class uplifted and inspired for #yogaeverydamnday. Thank you CPY Hillcrest :)
