This is a very clean and welcoming yoga studio. Each class begins by setting personal intentions for practice and ends with time for self awareness. I enjoy this studio more than any other one I've been to. The staff is diverse and positive.

I've driven by this location for years and I'd even considered visiting before but when I found out a friend of mine took classes there, I decided to try it out with her. The environment is immediately calming, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. While waiting on my friend, the first person who greeted me answered all of my questions, explained the 'first week free' program, and signed me up for the evening class.

The class itself was great - I've tried out 3-4 different yoga studios the past couple of weeks in DC but this place was at the top. The class pace was challenging but manageable, some of the positions were difficult, but the instructor (Jewels) took time to explain each one and monitor the newbies. I really appreciated the ample stretching and rest periods and the locker room was cool - clean, calm and (unlike most locker rooms) smelled great.

Will definitely be back.

The instructor was great - the class was much more relaxing, but also harder than I imagined. I think you should make sure the instructors do more demonstration of positions for beginners.
