If this is going directly to Nevada or GOG studios then you ladies will already know this, BUT what I love about CPY is the community --the atmosphere of warmth and caring that is fostered by the vast majority of our teachers. Almost every one of you (teachers) make me feel as if they are SO Glad that I (and I'm guessing the other students) have come to their class that day. The adage, "Remember you make a difference where you are" feels very real at our CPY studios. Thank you Sarra and Kaley and Brittane (and I think Katy up at GOG) for everything you do :). I just started doing yoga and am addicted. Planning on buying a monthly membership after my free week. I feel so much better and am planning on doing yoga for the rest of my life.

Teachers and classes

I was visiting from out if state & went in to wait on my boyfriend while he took a class. I had no intention of participating but after a little coxing from the instructor, I found myself trying my first class & I loved it!! The instructor was amazing!! She helped me through and made it a great first experience. I will definitely recommend this studio to everyone! I only wish there was a location in Indianapolis that I could make my yoga home!!

First, I find it odd that when I try to fill out a comment form, it only gives me an option to say what I like. Most important, I love our studios! I have gone to Core Power since it opened and the more classes, the nicer the studios, the charisma and care of the instructors always keeps me there. One of my major recommendations...fix the water fountains! All the studios in Denver region have water fountains that are made specifically for water bottles. Our water fountains at the Nevada studio do not work at all if used simultaneously and hardly works even when used alone.
Also, I think the instructors need to branch out in flows. They are all so fantastic but the majority of classes entail simply C1 and HPF postures in an array of orders. There are so many other postures to take from such as Iyangar, Kundalini and Ashtanga. Often I think to myself, I could take all the C1 and HPF postures and put them on a deck of cards, shuffle them and flip them out and come up w/ one of the classes. I hate to sound harsh but I'm sharing my thoughts to hopefully have classes get more creative! I know I've said it but I am so grateful for all the instructors we have!! (we could definitely use more than 2 male instructors though. :-)
