Class schedule, instructors, environment
Even though the instructors are all different and bring their own teaching styles, the courses are consistent. I know what to expect in a C1 versus C2. It's not like that at other studios.

The parking is terrible. Only about 8 spaces for likely 50 people in the studio at a time. Please try to figure something out for that.

Studio cleanliness, instructor and staff energy and friendliness, management (Joel :-), variety of class offerings, temperature of studios, to sum it up there is nothing I DO NOT love about this studio, the people, and sense of community it creates. With pride and joy, I call it my second home.

Professional teacher who is knowledgable in The field & excellent facilities.
I like when we work on handstands and arm balances. I wish we did that in every class. It's hard to get better at the hard stuff when you rarely practice them. I wish we practiced handstands at the wall more. If this is more level 3 than level 2, I wish there was a level 3 at the monarch location.

Lots of class times to chose from, friendly staff
Great space! love the restroom, showers, cool water bottle filler. I've been to two classes and both gave great instructions/commands, in clear voices. I will say that I almost passed out in the sculpt class...from heat, not the work. That was a little frustrating.

First and foremost, the quality of instructors. There's no doubt that some shine above the rest, and I love that CPY gives them the flexibility to do so.
Fitness and lifestyle
I like the consistency of quality instruction that I have come to be able to expect in each class. I also appreciate knowing that I will get a consistently comparable rhythm and flow (in C2s) regardless of the class time I attend; and it's equally important to me that CPY supports the creative expression that each individual teacher offers. The flows almost always make sense in my body (C2), and the HPF classes support a wonderful alternative to the Bikram classes, that I found to be so utterly uninspiring. Joel Homme is an amazingly positive, supportive and grounding presence for the teachers and students at CPY. Quite honestly, he is the best asset of a human I've experienced at any studio in the past 17 years.
