I love the sculpt class. Schedule and teachers are great. It would be good to offer TRX without being connected to boot camps.

Fairly diverse class set along with diverse set of teachers who can imprint a bit of their personal style on their respective classes and allows for the experience to be fresh and varied from time to time while still getting an amazing workout. Appreciate that most of the classes are 1 hr and have music, usually very solid playlists. Environment is appealing and typically clean. My only issue is the cost of the membership. I pay $79 a month a DavidBartonGym, (one of Chicago's premier facilities) and can do HIIT classes, yoga classes, pilates classes, and an array of other strength, biking and cardio classes along with access to freeweights and steam and sauna for half the price CPY charges. The company has obviously instituted and aggressive growth model and doesn't have issues filling the studios or popping up new studios at a rapid pace, so it's model is working. If I knew that the full-time teachers and full-time employees were all making around or over $50k a year I would feel better about the high cost, but with so many other alternatives it is tough to justify it on a monthly basis. That said, I usually start on a Groupon and then keep on for a couple months and drop off. I also recommend it as an amazing workout and experience to friends, etc and would consider carrying both memberships if it was around $80 a month. My concern is that it seems to be more profit driven and about an accelerated growth model and lacks the balance I would like to see in a yoga studio. But, with how much people spend on their phones, food, booze, etc. at least CPY is bringing health and its correlated happiness to the masses which wins in the end.

Clean room, kind and excellent teacher, please change the morning schedule. Don't make all 6am classes. We need verity 6am. help!!

Great classes with personable interesting instructors in a hot room on a cold day. What's not to like?

When the Damen stop is open, it is really easy to get to the studio. I also appreciate the schedule of classes (I go to the 6:30 am C2s every morning). It makes it really convenient to do before work.

Personalities!

I ADORE Antonio and his Sunday 10:30am Sculpt Class. He's the reason I get myself from River North to Bucktown on a Sunday morning. His energy and general teaching style are a perfect fit for me. Not to mention his awesome music selection! You can tell that he isn't just teaching a scripted class but he's engaged with everyone in the room- pushing and encouraging everyone to make the practice on their mat challenge but also their own. I walk out of his class feeling strong, energized and empowered. CorePower needs more Antonios:)

One request is to not allow cell phones in the yoga studios. Yesterday during class another student was checking their phone during yoga, and then later in the class, their phone rang...this was distracting to not only me but to other students in the class. Thanks for helping us dislocate ourselves from technically so we can become centered and focused for at least 60 minutes :)

Clean, always friendly, consistent, good music

Its a very clean studio with many classes offered. If you like to work out early, there are many morning classes, and if you like to work out after work, there are lots of evening classes offered as well. The showers/bathrooms are also very nice and clean. I actually enjoyed showering there because of all the products. Most gym showers have the bare minimum, but Core Power Bucktown has a lot to offer.
