Jenn Ra is an amazing Yoga Sculpt instructor! Her class is tough and works the whole body. She really digs into the muscles with repetitions and moves that build on one another. Yet it feels like the hour flies by because of the fun mood she inspires. The way she hits the beat with the movement is amazing - her musicality is top-notch!

CorePower - Pacific Beach is one of my favorite studios in San Diego. Having multiple studios is important to me for class options and availability. The energetic community in PB is also great because the other students keep me motivated in class.

Fun, energetic, and a good workout

I am up to about 6 classes after not having practiced for 2 years. It’s wonderful to be back in the studio and the staff has been helpful warm, informative and welcoming.
Today when I arrived for Emily’s 12:30 Hot power fusion class, I’d had a crazy morning and was so excited to be able to come in and do something good for myself and receive smiles and a usual cheerful welcome.
From outside I could what sounded like “chaos” at the front desk. I stood in the doorway waiting, along with 3 or 4 others, waiting, and realized that a girl at the desk, Kim, was frantically excited to have run into a friend. Kim continued to chat with her friend so loud that I stepped back outside to escape the unbearable noise (isn’t the nature of our yoga practice ”quiet”?
When I finally was greeted by a careless Kim who spoke to me as though I were interrupting her, she managed to check me in after having to repeat my name to her more than once. When she moved on to the next person, I realized that I hadn’t been informed of simply which room to go into. Kim not only didn’t know whether I’d checked in or not, but snapped at me as if I were another annoyance. Emily then solved the problem quickly and I was very relieved to know where to go.
We had a great class.
It’s sad that Kim’s job cut into her “social time”.
I hope to never encounter Kim again, but my progress at the studio has been so fun and such an incredible lift for me that I’ll take the chance.
Will someone please draw her rudeness and inappropriate loudness to her attention?
