Knowledgeable, professional, friendly
Inspector was efficient and very knowledgeable, and was able to provide us with nuanced feedback about our new house that will be very helpful in planning for the future. He was personable and friendly to deal with. This was a last minute referral from another inspector we had booked with who was not able to do the inspection but I have absolutely no problems at all with the change after having gone through the inspection process with you.
Was able to get an appointment relatively quickly. Inspector was on time, pleasant to deal with and helpful in going over rebates avaliable. Report and invoice came quickly after inspection was done.
Very detailed and very thorough inspection. Scott took the time to walk me around the exterior of the house, followed by a walk through of all three interior levels of the home. He explained what he was specifically looking for in each area, identifying any issues or concerns.
Highly recommend him for anyone looking for a top quality home insprection.

I gave a 3/10 star rating and here is my reasoning, starting with the positives: Eventually the job was completed. The technician who came to the site was polite and friendly, She was knowledgeable and was able to answer my questions. I did receive the report and it will suffice for our needs. However, regardless of industry rates, I do not feel like I got value for my money. I did not feel valued as a customer. And I was disappointed with the overall service. It took 5 weeks from the time of inspection until I received a report, and it likely would have taken longer had I not called and requested a refund. Blair seemed to be frustrated and even hung up on me when I said I was unhappy and wanted a refund, as if I was in the wrong. Try to see this from my perspective, I requested a job to be completed, someone came to my home, walked around for a bit, took some measurements/information then took full payment for the job, and said I should see a report within a week or two. After two weeks I called to ask about the report and was told about difficulties inputting data into Government programs and staffing issues and out of town at a conference. All these things I am empathetic to, but still my job is not completed and I cannot move forward with the other projects that are supposed to follow. So I wait another two weeks to call. More excuses. At the end of fifth week I call and ask for refund. I wasn't nasty, I just want the money back so I can get someone in to get the job done. Blair hangs up on me and the repot arrives in my email 15 minutes later...so I am I mad? No. Disappointed? Yes. Would I recommend? Unfortunately, No. My recommendation would be work on your communication. Maybe its Ok to make someone wait two months for a report, but you could let your client know up front that's how long it takes, or a reach out and say its taking longer than expecting but here is a deadline. Not make me call you like I need a favour. It was only a $450 project but you made me feel like a chump, I won't forget it.
