Alaska Fitness is the beat Gym in Anchorage, hands down.
Loved all the windows to bring in sunlight. Appreciate the cardio and weight machines on different floors. Amazing indoor BB court. Locker rooms are very nice (although a bit small).
COVID safety and sanitation measures were very apparent throughout and those present (staff and members) were respectful about maintaining social distancing. I do worry what it's going to be like in January though when more of us are back on campus and gym attendance numbers jump. At that time I hope to attend regularly on my on-campus days (Tues-Thurs) and I'd imagine everyone else has the same plan.
Side question: When will the pool be available again for lap swimming? Thank you.
New tiling in the locker room is awesome! I do have one request. Not a fan of the new shampoo/shower gel/lotion. Too much fragrance. Prefer the old blue stuff and Vasaline IC lotion... :(

I was very positively impressed with the refreshed NSC. The men's locker room looked so clean and bright. The new branding is also a nice surprise, emphasizing the 5 facets of health. Also loved that on the first day there were so many WDC team members there to welcome everyone back and ensure everything worked as planned. It was clear that everyone was very excited and proud about the work. Super impressed. Thank you!

Friendly staff and clean facilities
It was great to get back to the Coach K gym since the Bo is closed for remodeling. I did want to provide some feedback about the basketball shooting machines as I am not sure if the following has been communicated with the Coach K staff. Both shooting machines are not working properly. Machine #1 which is the machine in the back/right of the basketball court has an "out of order' message on the display. Machine #2 only works for 90 degrees and then fails due to an "obstruction error" that limits the rotation of the machine from right to left.
I use these machines often (2-3 times a week) in The Bo and Coach K. Since The Bo is closed for several months, it would be great to get these machines back up and running in Coach K. And by the way, the staff at Coach K and The Bo are always awesome. Thanks for making every visit to the gym extremely pleasant.
