I joined OrangeTheory because after two years of working out in the basement by myself, it became difficult to find the motivation and discipline to work out multiple times a week doing the same old boring routine. OrangeTheory is the perfect remedy to this problem since people work out together as a group and yet at each individual’s own pace. I like how the hour is split up into three equal parts of different exercise disciplines: rowing, strength and treadmill and that the instructor mixes up those three disciplines with lots of different routines, bouncing us back and forth between the rowing, strength and treadmill. It’s fun to watch your progress on the big screen as it calculates your heart rates, steps, miles, calories and Splat points and you can see where you stand compared to your competitors. The instructor was helpful and the music was good. The studio is wiped down regularly and is clean and attractive. I highly recommend OrangeTheory!
I don’t have to think, I just do what I’m told — I love this.
I love OTF, but I have noticed that the twenty minutes of strength training isn’t enough for me. I wish there was a chance to really develop my muscles, but maybe that’s not OTF’s focus, which I understand. I might just need something to supplement OTF.
I’ve really enjoyed Orange Theory! The coaches, atmosphere, and variety of training, make workouts very enjoyable!

The staff and coaches are all so friendly and make the environment so welcoming. The workout is challenging, but everyone always makes you feel like you can do it.
Every quarter or so they seem to step up the workout to make it challenging. Also the instructor's playlists really help get through the workouts.
The coaches are friendly and inspirational. They accept where you are while also pushing you to exceed your own expectations.

Love the workouts! Love the coaches! My request would be to change the Lift 45 classes back to full OT classes - there are too few times for full OT workouts.
Diversity of exercises, good music, efficient
How approachable it is, the benchmarks that help me push myself, and the community. It's a great workout for beginners of all ages and while I feel like I'm starting to plateau, I wouldn't be here without OTF as a huge part of my fitness journey.

It is fast paced, I can push myself..but not feel like I'm going to injure myself..I like focusing in 2-4 min increments. They explain it all so well..and make it just so I can focus on me.

I enjoyed being in a group setting and the instructor provided great input. The monitors that provide the order of the strength exercises is a great addition.

Variety in all the workouts, great coaching, incentives and good morale support, variety of coaches & locations if traveling, well organized, clears my head, helps me with socializing & personal accountability, has helped me have long term improved fitness, strengthening, flexibility & conditioning, manageable with learning my individual limits if ever there is any type of injury.. there are innumerable benefits!

I like the variety and the mixture of cardio and weights and body exercises. Love the music and the instructors! I always feel like I had a great workout!
Karla and Raye are really great coaches and are the main reason why I’d recommend OTF Navy Yard. I recommend adding some more opportunities for belonging — for example, social events and activities outside of the studio. OTF Navy Yard will develop more loyal clients that way.
