At Orangetheory I feel like I have a personal trainer pushing me to work harder as opposed to going to a regular gym doing it on my own . I don't get that extra push and don't work that extra sweat that I get from OT. What I get out of going to OT is that it disciplines me and I walk out of there soaking in sweat feeling good that I had a great workout even though at the time can't wait for that hour to be done. Would definitely recommend OT.

Not intimidated because of the setup, the lighting, and the coaches are awesome. I know that if I was working out on my own at a gym that I would never work as hard because I would not understand that I am capable of doing more. This class, coach, heart monitor combination is fabulous to push me to do better. I love the coaches. Love their tips. They say things that stay with me such as “you can do anything for fifteen seconds” or “this is where the magic happens” always a general push with encouragement that is wonderful. I love that I joined. I am thankful for the kindness of the lovely people who work here and push me forward to be a better version of me.
The Orange Theory workout enables me to perform fairly consistently within my own capacities to get a good workout. In traditional fitness classes without the heart monitor feedback it is easy to push (or be pushed) to hard in order to match others - in the past that sort of situation has put me into a cycle of injury and re-injury as I tried to 'fit in'.
The OTF workout allows different fitness levels to obtain results without that sort of unhelpful comparison, and it is easy to see when you can/should push harder and when you should not.
I appreciate the gym moving to the open gym concept to stay open - it is allowing me to continue a level of self care during times that are difficult.
I like that I’m only working to my level of fitness. I like the varied workouts and being shown alternative exercises when I can’t do the listed ones. Right now with covid protocols and open studio I like being able to create my own workouts to target the areas I want to work on. The only thing I would want is a space to stretch before and after class since I don’t have space at home so I can’t work on my flexibility anywhere...

I love direction and motivation from the coaches. It’s an intense workout that I would not get from going to any other gym by myself.
