Went to my first class and LOVED it! Although I can barely walk, I can't wait to go back!
I only take workouts from Jarvis. He’s very entertaining, enthusiastic, and knows how to motivate throughout the entire workout. I’ve tried taking classes from other staff before - but it didn’t feel the same. Nor did I feel like I had a great workout. Thanks Jarvis!
I love that it involves high intensity cardio and weights. I also like that you don't know if it will be a strength, power, endurance, or ESV day that way you can't skip the ones you don't like- It forces you to get better at all of them.
They’re always different, and the coaches are always so motivating.
The instructors are awesome. I thought they would be more like boot camp with them yelling at us however they are encouraging PLUS they make sure you are in the proper position to stay safe and healthy. I think it is nice that they don't seem to take a bit of extra time if you have any questions. That is really appreciated. The facility is clean and comfortable.
Variety and ability to monitor workouts
high energy, good workout
Coaches are amazing! Ex: Jarvis and Donovan! Can’t beat the music and energy.
The coaches
Challenging good music not too hot
The staff in La Mesa are the best!!!
The workouts seem to be well thought out and programmed, and I like the heart rate component and data.
It's a great concept, well-executed, that I enjoy doing. Here's your problem: music. It appears that coaches are more or less in control of what's played, and that's mostly great; some coaches pick really good stuff. But man.... I really can't stand pop music, and the music in the lobby is truly awful. Bad mumble rap or cheesy pop doesn't exactly get me fired up.
Other than that, my other critique is that you guys really, really, really need to have classes on strength training form. You do rowing clinics and run clinics, but the floor is where I've seen some really bad form, and the place where I suspect most of your customers would really and truly benefit from education and instruction. "Here's how you squat; here's how you deadlift; here's good form for a push-up". So many people pick weights that are far too low for them because I suspect they don't really feel confident or comfortable. And they're robbing themselves when they're doing this. Train them! Get them a focused session on proper form! I bet the transformation stories people share will go up if you do.
Anyway, I'm digging it—thanks! (Aside from the music. Sometimes. Empty pop music is soooo bad....)
The instructors and.the staff!!
The variety and the coaches!
Encouraging and personal atmosphere that the coaches meke it. They give me a “I can do it!” Attitude. I also love the studio workout. It’s at a great pace and I can daily challenge myself without it being a popular competition like other fitness centers.
Great instructor and we really liked the format of the class.
Environment
Love the overall environment, not as high stress as other OTF studios. Coaches...Anthony and James are rock stars. Front desk... everyone is friendly, welcoming, helpful. I now go there any time possible.
It kicks my butt EVERY SINGLE TIME!
The staff is extremely friendly and down to earth and the special events and promotions are fun! The music playlists are great too!
Dracula
Good energy, hard workouts and loud music. The trainers are fabulous.
Quick, organized workouts in a clean facility
Love quinncy energy??
I love OTF! Constantly changing workouts, motivating coaches and awesome results. Who could ask for more!?
It’s challenging, I can leave my brain at home and be physical since a coach is guiding my workout.
Challenging workouts! Great instructors with clean updated facilities.
Coaches and front desk staff are awesome. They are all energetic, friendly and helpful. They make you feel like your part of a family. And the workouts are great.
